Be Resolute!

 Be Resolute!

In a world filled with struggles and uncertainties, it is expedient to be accustomed with the adage that ... nothing good comes easy!

Of course no good result is achieved on a silver platter, and this is the more reason why we need to be resolute.

Be resolute my Dear! For irrespective of whatever you have gone through or even going through now, with the little resilience you will achieve your goal.

It is never good to give up so easily on your dreams or aspirations because of any setback, no never! That makes you a failure. Bear in mind that, you have not been given such a dream or aspiration to fail. Rather you are called a winner!

Therefore, do not be intimidated nor be afraid to take chances. Come on, get up from your slumber (comfort zone), and push hard (making good use of available opportunities) till you get what you want.

Remember, you are where you are for a purpose.  And that purpose must be fulfilled to the glory of God. For it is in your purpose that you will be made relevant to yourself, society and life at large. Think about this carefully and strive to be resolute.

Stay Blessed!

Whose Mark Do You Bear!

 Whose Mark Do You Bear!

Do you know that for you to be noted, there need to be some sort of identification? What then identifies you my Dear? What is that peculiar mark in your life that makes you relevant in life? Have you ever thought of that? Sella!

Everyone one way or the other has a mark on his or her life, but the issue is, what or whose mark is on you? Is it the seal of God or the mark of the beast? Are you moved by the spirit of God in your actions or your actions are influenced by the lust of the flesh?

It is best to be on the Lord's side than to yield to the deceptive sweetness of the flesh. For there is no better glory in the things of the flesh. Though they are pleasurable, they last but for the moment and gradually lead to sin, which subsequently leads to death (Romans 6: 23).

Dear friend, you are alive for a purpose (to accomplish a mission), and it is impliedly the mark you bear that will help you fulfill your mission.

As a matter of fact, the seal of God has better prospects than any other mark when it comes to fulfilling your purpose in life. Hence, I recommend that you do everything possible to bear the mark of God(which is the Holy Spirit).

For it is written that, it is the Holy Spirit that will direct us into all truth (John 16:13).

Hence, be a goal getter and obtain the mark of God for a purposeful life.

Stay Blessed!

Turn Back To Be On Track!

Turn Back To Be On Track!

We all as sheep have gone astray...(Isaiah 53:6), and it's time now to turn back to our first love. Oh yes, it is time to make things right once again with our maker (God).

We have toiled too much, and have wasted precious life and time on unnecessary and unfulfilling pleasures for too long. It is time to say no more to all that.

Why? Because, there is no more time to waste. The clock of life is ticking so fast, leaving everybody at the mercy of the weather (situations of life). This, you can testify, as both the young and old are dying concurrently now. Sella!

How many more days do you have to live on earth? Can you be absolute on that? Can you vividly say when and how you will exit this earth? I don't think so, but God knows (Revelation 22:13).

Hence, why not repent now and turn back to be on the Lord's side (MHB 820)?

Come, oh come my dear, to the waters, where you will never thirst nor hunger (Isaiah 55:1).

Come to Jesus now and be saved. He loves you so much and he is waiting for your turn back into his arms. Do not waste any more time. Your tomorrow might be too late to hold on. Sella!

Stay Blessed!

It Shall Be Well With You!

It Shall Be Well With You!

It is very obvious that the times we are in are very dangerous and difficult. Many dreams and hopes have been shuttered. So many unforeseen things are happening to the detriment of people's joy and progress. But I tell you the truth, all hope is not lost. It shall be well with you.

Whatever you have lost shall be recovered in no time (1 Samuel 30:8). For your God is not dead, but alive. He is working out everything for your good.

No matter how challenging the year has been for you, don't worry, it shall be well with your soul.

Greater and better glories are ahead for you in life. If only you will stay on, and hold on fast to the word and will of God for your life, it shall certainly be well with you.

For God has promised, and he will do it. As far as he is not a man to lie (Numbers 23:19), whatever promise he has made in your life will be accomplished. And you will be a living testimony to many. Why? Because, the hand of God is upon your life.

Don't give up yet, keep the faith, for your victory is near!

Be One With Christ!

 Be One With Christ!

If anyone be in Christ he is a new creation, old things are past and behold everything becomes new (2 Corinthians  5:17). Beloved, hope you have heard this scripture times without number!

Oh yes, that is how we should live as children of God (being one with Christ).

Friend, the goodies (blessings) in Christ need to be enjoyed to the maximum by everybody. But until you become one with him, you may not have the maximum satisfaction required.

For Christ to be anointed and empowered by God (Acts 10:38), he was made one with God (John 10:30; John 14:10). Hence, for you to be fully furnished with the glory of God, you must be one with him (both in spirit, mind and soul).

For it is only with him that you can understand the works he does and why he chooses to do them the way he is pleased. For he reveals the secret things to his own people (Psalm 25:14; Amos 3:7).

Hence, why are you far from the Lord? Come on! Strive to be one with him. For he truly cares about you and your wellbeing. He has promised you blessings unspeakable, Waiting for you to tap into them, why delay?

Come forth, deny yourself of the lust of the flesh and move to become on with Christ Jesus. For he is the only true way, truth and life. Nothing is made perfect without him.

Just cling to him, and your life will never be the same.

Stay Blessed!

Do The Right Thing!

 Do The Right Thing!

Do you know that many have knowledge but are not able to apply it rightfully? Oh yea, it does happen a lot.

Most people know the distinction between good and bad, but will often overlook just for selfish reasons. What is the essence of that? My dear, you need to do the right thing.

Do the right thing and save yourself the stress of correcting errors all the time. It is better to spend quality time working out the right, than to waste precious time on correcting unnecessary wrongs done.

As a matter of fact, to really focus on the right, you need wisdom. This can not be derived from anywhere, than in the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10).

Therefore my Dear, fear God! Give reverence to his word, and meditate upon it day and night (Joshua 1:8), that you may gain in depth knowledge about what is right and acceptable before God and men.

Don't be influenced by the order of the day, nor be under any undue pressure from others, just stay focused and do the right thing.

Stay Blessed!

Maintain The Good Works!

 Maintain The Good Works!

You have been created for good works (Ephesians2:10), walking in the will of God and testifying of the glory of God upon your life. And for that matter, the need to maintain your good works.

There is nothing more rewarding than, to receive the blessings of the Lord, which is mostly influenced by the good works done in tune with the will of God. Sella!

Do not forget this, that whatever your hand finds doing must be done well (Ecclesiastes 9:10). For that is what the Lord requires.

Maintain the little things you do that makes you a hero (heroine) in the sight of God and men. For though they might be little, they go a long way to impact other people's lives.

Hence my Dear, no matter the challenges or setbacks you face, don't give up. Just strive to maintain the good works. There are blessings awaiting your steadfastness.

Stay Blessed!

Come Out!

 Come Out!

The world around us is so much filled with deceit and sin, and it deems fit for us to come out clean as children of God (1 Peter 1:16; 1 John 3:3).

Oh yes! Though we were once like "them", we have been bought at a worthy price (1 Corinthians 6:20). Thus, we need not partake in the things that indicts our nature as children of the light. Hence, the need to come out!

Come out from among the counsel of wickedness, come out from lies and hatred, come out from the fornication and adulterous lifestyle. Oh come out my dear, from every sin that entangles your glory.

For the kingdom of God is at hand, and his glory is upon the whole earth seeking for them that will embrace it. Will you be one?

The moment is now, and the time is set, no more chance to delay, because the days are evil (Ephesians5:16). You can never tell what will happen the next moment of your life. Make the decision to live right with your maker now.

Remember, you are the channel to someone else's salvation. Don't mess this great opportunity up. Repent, and redirect your ways. Just be a testimony unto God. Sella!

Don't Trust Your Flesh!

 Don't Trust Your Flesh!

One major concern of every individual is his or her being. Thus, how he or she looks and the impression of others about his or her life. However, all these is about the flesh, which ends right here (on earth) in no time.

My Dear, it is good to enjoy life while it last. But it is very keen not to overly put your trust in your flesh. For the flesh is always at war with the spirit in you (Galatians 5:17).

One major fact that we easily lose sight of is that, our success in life is mostly as a result of the effort of our inner man, and not the flesh. Why because, anything gained based on the flesh is always short lived (not able to stand the test of time). Sella!

There are times that the flesh will fail you vehemently, but the spirit thrives on for long. Oh yea, it does! For there is nothing worth more than being self motivated.

Do not trust your fresh my Dear, for it's got nothing better to offer you in the future ahead. All that may happen , is to disappoint you (if care is not taken).

Let your hope and trust be in the Lord, who works in you both the spirit and power to will and to do(Philippians 2:13), and not your flesh. That you may endure to enjoy the goodness of the Lord always.

Stay Blessed!

Have You Been Grateful!

 Have You Been Grateful!

Gratitude is one most important nature that must be zealously cultivated by all. Meanwhile, it is rare to find people showing gratitude always.

It doesn't matter the level of the act of kindness nor your status in life, the best way to go is to be grateful for everything.

Many people's blessings are hindered because of the lack of gratitude and appreciation in their life. Don't be one!

I believe strongly that you have not come this far in life all by your strength and effort, but by the grace and support of others (especially God). Hence be grateful.

If you are to assess your life and wellbeing, have you been that grateful to God and the people who have played key roles in your life as required? Sella!

Dear friend, it is not late, there is more room for repentance. Let go the pride, and show gratitude. It will go a long way to establish your footprints for the future. Be sensitive to the ground.

Stay Blessed!

Sacrifice!

 Sacrifice!

Sacrifice is one of the greatest demands one is required to meet in life. It is very honourable and even God attests to it (Romans 12:1).

Meanwhile, not all sacrifices are worthy. While some are honourable before the Lord and even men, others are strange. Can you imagine?

Many of us do render sacrifices one way or the other, but as to whether these sacrifices are worthy or strange, is the question to consider.

What sacrifices are you making my Dear? Do you really assess and monitor the potency of the sacrifices you make? You need to...Sella!

It will be very painful to make a great sacrifice without substantial reward. Hence, there is the need to streamline the sacrifices you make through the test of the Will of God. And this can only be done effectively in relation to the word of God (just like using the litmus paper in a science laboratory).

In view of this my friend, you need to daily let the word of God be your anchorage, so that you don't find yourself wanting when it comes to making sacrifices in life (2 Timothy 2:15).

Stay Blessed!

Be Right With God Always!

 Be Right With God Always!

It more easy to be right with God sometimes, but somewhat difficult for many to be consistent with God when it comes to being right with him always. Hope you will attest to this sincerely.

God loves us dearly, and is always steadfast with his love for us. In view of this, he requires us to show some level of diligence towards our relationship with him. Are you doing same?

My dear, it is better to strive and be right with God always, than to be free (in the world) and suffer anger with God. Sella!

God is merciful, but never takes delight in the foolishness of those that take his mercy for granted. Thus, he choose to visit such people with his anger at his own time. Be warned!

Friend, God's anger is so fierce and dangerous, I don't think you would love to experience it. Hence, why don't you sacrifice your lust for the flesh now, and live right with the Lord (obeying his word and will for your life)?

He is patiently waiting for you to surrender it all to him (your life, riches, health, etc). The Lord wants to have his footprint in your well being, don't excuse yourself from him. Come on, get intimate with him now.

It doesn't matter where you have been, nor what you are in or going through right now, just give him room to operate in your life. And you will never regret.

For he has so much blessings for them that are his, even those that repent from their sins. But they that refuse him, he deals with them treacherously just as they deserve. Don't be a victim, repent and come to Jesus now! Just make the decision to be right with the Lord, and be saved once and for all.

They Cannot Sit Till You Come!

They Cannot Sit Till You Come!

Many times we look down on ourselves owing to the present circumstances around, but hey! You are very important.

Oh yes you are! You are worth more than rubies, an uncommon being with a priceless glory. Come on, be alive and radiate that glory upon you.

See, if God's calling and anointing is about stature and appearance, then I will agree that some of us are not qualified at all to be nominees. But far from that, God's calling and anointing is just about his grace and favour.

Thus, when His grace locates you, nothing can withhold His favour upon you. Sella!

Dear friend, do not bother about the people around and what they do. Just rest in the assurance of God's grace for your glory. For the glory of the later shall be greater than the former (Haggai 2:8-9).

Surely, when your time is set, nothing can hold you back and nothing will be done without you. Even they that looked down on you will not sit till you come. Why because it is time for the manifestation of your anointing and glory.

Cheer up now my dear, be strong and courageous in the Lord, for God is yet to do greater things with you, in the midst of all, even your enemies. Certainly, they can not sit nor proceed with anything, without your announcement and presence..

Don't Envy and Covet If You Lack Knowledge!

Don't Envy and Covet If You Lack Knowledge!

Wisdom and knowledge are very principal in human life, and are most complemented with understanding. The lack of these, make one encounter many challenges in life.

Of course, without wisdom and knowledge, you judge everything wrongly virtually, giving room to other malicious vices including covetousness. Forgetting that everyone is different, and God deals with us on different grounds.

My dear, there is no need for you to envy anyone on earth for any reason. Rather, you need to intercede fervently and pray for your own open doors. For you are created for a purpose,  which must be fulfilled.

Rather than sitting down with your arms folded and murmuring, why not channel the energy into devising ways to make things work for you (seeking help).

It doesn't really matter, the channel through which the help may come, all that matters is that, the help is from God, because God have diverse means of blessing us. And if it is, there will be no need to envy and covet another's.

There is no blessing nor honour in enviness and covetousness, but there is great pleasure and comfort in being patient with the Lord for your own blessing.

With this my Dear, be patient with God, and in his own time, he will honour you beyond your imagination. Just keep this knowledge and apply wisdom in all you do without envy nor covetousness. And trust me, you will never be put to shame, because God got your back covered.

Hear Him!

 Hear Him!

As humans, many voices whisper to us at every point in time, but it is very important to be sure which voice you pay attention to.

You may be surprised to pay heed to the voices of unfamiliar spirits, if you do not pay critical attention to the voices around you. Oh yes! Many have suffered this, mistaking the voice of certain creatures to be the voice of God in their lives.

Friend, it is expedient to pay much attention to just one voice at every point in time. And that voice is the voice of the Lord (Luke 9:35). Sella!

For though subtle and thin, its power and potency is magnificent. No other voice stays true, than the voice of the Lord. For his words are Yes and in themselves Amen (2 Corinthians1:20). Nothing at all can speak against, when the Lord speaks. So hear him!

Hear the Lord while he speaks my Dear, for there is no one to tell you the truth in your life than what the word of God says.

Obey his every command and be diligently prepared to do that which he says. For he alone is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). None other can be compared to him. His words are more powerful and soothing to the ears. Hear him!

Stay Blessed!

Jeremiah 26:1-15, Deuteronomy 13:4, Malachi 2:2, James 1:19, Luke 11:22-28, Jeremiah 33:3, Proverbs 16:20, Matthew 7:24, Romans 10:17, Matthew 4:4.

The Lord's Reward Is Everlasting!

 The Lord's Reward Is Everlasting!

Indeed, the blessing of the Lord maketh rich and adds no sorrow (Proverbs 10:23), likewise no man can stand the wrath of God, because it is so fierce (Ezekiel 21:31). This shows how powerful the Lord's reward is. It is so powerful and lasts for a lifetime.

Therefore as children of God, we ought to be mindful of the things we do that attracts reward from the Lord. Bear in mind that, your good deeds will attract a positive reward, and your bad deeds will attract a negative reward. Sella!

Hence, it is best to order your steps in the Word of God, for it is the light unto our path (Psalm 119:105). It is only the word of God that will genuinely correct, rebuke and even instruct you, in order to direct your path into perfection (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Hence, let the word of God dwell in you richly, so that your actions will be guided to receive positive reward from the Lord. Be wise!

Live Your Call!

 Live Your Call!

We all have a call upon our lives. And it is a destiny call. A call to fulfill your purpose on earth and in the lives of many. Hence, it pays dearly to live that call.

You are more than who you think you are. And you have a responsibility to render, both to yourself, the world and the one who has placed that call upon you (God). You need not disappoint. That call must be fulfilled.

Live your call my dear, for you are more than capable to live it. All power and authority has been given to you by God, from the moment that call was made. Don't be afraid! You can do it.

Remember, the call is never the same with everyone, because the anointing is different.  However, the grace of God is the same for all. And it is the grace of God that will usher and sustain you through your calling.

Hence, be steadfast in the Lord, rest in him and obey his every command (in the Word). He will direct your path. For it is with this that you will be able to live that call upon your life.

Friend, it doesn't matter your call. What matters is whether the call is from God. Hence, it would be best for you to know the call of God upon your life. And with your rest in God, you will be able to live that call upon you. Be responsible!

Believe It! Their Plots Will Not Stand!

Believe It! Their Plots Will Not Stand!

It is amazing how people could just sit to plot evil for another, with no cause. What at all could be their drive for that? Could it be envy, hatred or sheer wickedness?

Well, the truth of the fact is that, though they plan evil for you, it will never work. For you have been bought and covered with the blood of Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:20). Therefore, no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Believe it!

Nothing of the wicked against your life shall stand, because, the Fowler's snare is broken (Psalm 124:7). Oh yes! You are covered and secured in the Lord.

Thus, there is no need to be afraid of what the wicked does or can do. There is hope for your safety and escape (That is in Christ Jesus alone).

Hence, remain in him, if you are already resting in him. But if you are far apart from him, I will entreat that you draw closer to him. For he is the only hope for a brighter and secured life (Colossians 1:27). Sella! Come to him now (Matthew 11:28-30).

The Wicked's Yoke Is Broken!

 The Wicked's Yoke Is Broken!

Many of us have been bound by the wicked, in chains of suffering, pride, arrogance, hatred and so on. This has made it so difficult for us to enjoy the glory of the Lord. But I tell you today that, the wicked's yoke is broken!

Oh yes, you are free! For whom the son of God sets free is free indeed (John 8:34-36). There's no room for the wicked to operate in this freedom.

However, if you allow him (the wicked) in your free state, he will use and destroy you more than the former (Matthew 12:43-45).Hence, strive to remain in the Lord's  rest, and enjoy the freedom.

My Dear, the wicked's yoke is broken, and it is now left for you to operate in the capacity given to you as a child of God by power and authority (Luke 10:19). Why are you still being naive?

Come on! The wicked's yoke is broken in your life, so stand up, loose yourself from those chains around you (Isaiah 52:2) and launch into your breakthrough. For there lies your glory and victory.

Do not waste any more time on the vanities of your thoughts, nor on the hindrances you see around. Be steadfast, let your focus be on the Lord ( Hebrews 12:1-2) and the victory assured will be yours forever.

What Goes Around, Comes Around!

 What Goes Around, Comes Around!

Hope you have heard that, whatever you do to someone will certainly be done to you! Oh yes, it will. For so has it been established, that you reap what you sow (Galatians 6:7).

Therefore, be very careful how you live on earth. You can never, disrespect the rights and privileges of others and wish to have a sound one. Never!

It is best to always show empathy when relating to others. For you can never be successful by leaving as an island (you need the hands of others to climb your success ladder).

Whether small or great, rich or poor, you need the effort of someone to grow. So think twice when dealing with others. Most importantly you need the hand of God in your life and in all that you do.

For without God, you can do nothing (John 15:5). Therefore, seek him while he may be found (Isaiah 55:6) and do all that he requires you to do.

For he called you for a purpose,  and that purpose needs to be fulfilled. So be wise and act in the will of the Lord. For it is when you delight yourself in him, that he will desire in the affairs of your life (Psalm 37:4). Think and act wisely. The choice is in your hand.

Establish Your Heart With Grace!

 Establish Your Heart With Grace!

Grace is one uncommon thing that most of us believe to understand, but never does. It is that unmerited favour that stands tall for all, because of the great sacrifice of Christ Jesus to mankind (John 3:16).

It is this same grace that the Lord requires us to establish  our hearts with (doing things wholeheartedly with content, without focusing on personal gains).

It is better to show forth the Christ-likeness in you to all through the spirit of grace you carry. Sella!

What do you use the grace of God upon your life for? Do you just carry it about here and there, without the knowledge of its work in you and the people around you? Oh dear, it is time you make it evident in all you do.

Thus, it is time to establish your heart with grace. So that you will be able to bear wonderful fruits in life. For it is from the heart that the issues of life flow (Proverbs 4:23).

Without grace in your heart, your ways will be perversed. And nothing good will come out of your decisions in life.

Hence, instead of doing things in your own desires and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), why not establish your heart with grace. So that you obtain favour from the Lord. Sella!

As far as you are a child of God, you must carry a mark of Christ Jesus in your life. And this would be made evident mainly if your heart is established with grace. Therefore, think about this carefully, and amend your ways.

Stay Blessed!

Where Is Your Faithfulness, Oh Man!

Where Is Your Faithfulness, Oh Man!

The world today is filled with so much unnecessary and time wasting stuffs. There is limited or no room for loyalty and faithfulness (even unto God- the maker).  Meanwhile,  this is not how the Lord meant it to be.

Where is your faithfulness, oh child of God? Were you not the same person who confessed your loyalty to God ( as your Lord and personal saviour)? Why are you drifting away from that promise?

Have you forgotten that a broken promise is worth not making at all (Ecclesiastes5:5)? Why all these unfaithfulness in your life? Don't you feel any remorse or guilt? Is that what you promised from the start? Can't you sense that your unfaithfulness to God is as a result of your unfaithfulness to your fellow men. Is this what you were created and saved for? Sella!

Dear friend, better repent and go back to your first love, before you are disgraced. For there is nothing good nor better where you are heading. If there is, many would have testified same to you.

Seek the Lord while he may be found (Isaiah 55:6), acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will direct your path (Proverbs 3:6). For the one who has called and redeemed you is faithful,  and requires you to be example of him (1 Timothy 4:12). Hence, repent and be faithful!

Continue The Good Work!

 Continue The Good Work!

Despite the differences in our human abilities, everyone of us has something good that can be attributed to him or her. And it is that good work that you must continue doing, for your glory to be revealed.

Your good work may not be necessarily visible to all, but with your consistency and diligence it will be evident with time. Why? Because the impact will be substantially noted as significant.

What do you do best that ignites the thoughts and love of others (even God)? Is it your constant care to others, that cheerful smiles, the generous giving, or your regular preaching of the gospel?

Whatever it is that others see you doing as good, so should you continue to do. For it is through that, that your blessings are numbered.

Not only that which others see you doing, but that which is more pleasing to the Lord (Galatians 1:10), the same must you do continually, so that his blessing be upon you forever.

Do not relent in well doing (Galatians 6:9), for through that, many have obtained the favour of the Lord.

You may be the next, so strive to continue with your good work.

You Are A Result Of God's Covenant!

You Are A Result Of God's Covenant!

Before you were formed in your mother's womb, I knew you... (Jeremiah 1:5). This bible verse confirms that we are indeed in this world for a mission and a purpose.

Though it was directly said to Jeremiah, it impliedly refers to us also. This is because, we are also seeds of Abraham. Thus, the result of God's covenant (Genesis 17:4-5).

You are a covenant child, and must live and be seen as such. Hence, you should be very careful how you live your life and where you find yourself (Psalm 1:1-6).

You are in this world because of God's covenant with your forefathers (tracing back to the roots of Abraham). And thus, you need to remain in the said covenant (fulfilling the will and righteousness of God).

As a matter of fact, you need to be more meticulous in everything you do, because God is seriously interested in you and what you do (Jeremiah 29:11). For he requires you to keep his covenant, as it is a generational covenant (Exodus 19:5).

You are a covenant child, and must always bear that in mind, before taking any step or making your own decisions in life. For it would be very painful and disappointing for you to destroy that which your fathers have toiled for. Sella!

God is a covenant keeping God. He is ever ready and willing to fulfill his part of the covenant. The issue is are you willing and ready to walk in that covenant,  of which you are a result of? Sella!

It doesn't take any much effort to remain in that covenant. All that is required is your faith, humility, love, patience and obedience to the Lord. Be a true Believer and enjoy the fruits of God's everlasting covenant.

What Else Do You Want!

 What Else Do You Want!

It is so loving and thoughtful for God to give freely his beloved son for our sake (John 3:16). He gave him to the world freely, so that we might be saved and have eternal life. What else can you ask for better than this?

God has not called you to being to disgrace or afflict you with pain (Jeremiah 29:11). He did not win you to leave you in the midst of your struggles. Remember his promise... "I am with you always" (Matthew 28:20).

Why are you worried and perplexed? Why are you drifting away from the comfort of the Lord to God knows where? What at all are you seeking that the Lord can not provide? What else do you want in life?

The most needed and important thing in life (peace) is in Christ Jesus alone (Matthew 11:28-30). Even the wealth you are craving and chasing about for, is with him (Matthew 6:33). So where are you going?

My dear friend, it is only fools that walk blind and aimless, while their breakthrough is so close to them. I do not think you'd want to be associated with such. Think!

Who can give you what the Lord gives you? Can you buy or pay for your life? Can you be comfortable in your sleep  knowing that your soul is roaming somewhere else? My friend, better stay steady and rest in the Lord.

For there is nothing more greater and valuable than the love and peace that the presence of God brings to you. Oh yes, nothing at all! So never think of moving away from his presence. Abide in him, and he will abide in and with you always (John 15:4-5).

Let Your Focus Be Your Motivation!

Let Your Focus Be Your Motivation!

There is no one without focus on earth. However, the nature and kind of focus you have determines your conditioning in life. A good focus will lead you to a greater and lasting outcome than a bad one.

In spite of this, it is best to let your focus motivate you inwardly. Let that thing you desire so much be your number one motivation to energize your enthusiasm.

For though many motivations and inspirations may come your way, it is mostly the inner motivation that thrives you on.

Do not allow anything around or before you disrupt  your motivation to achieve your focus in life. It will be a stumbling block in your way, if you allow it.

Even God knows there are distractors all over, because of the crowd of witnesses around. That is why he has given you the will power to put things in order in your life.

If Christ, because of the joy and glory set before him, endured and despised the shame in order to achieve his focus, I believe you can also do same. Not relying on the conditions around you, but allowing your focus to motivate you for the goal set ahead of you in life.

My dear friend, everything you want to achieve in life is possible, if  only you will set your mind to it and enthusiastically work hard towards it.

However, your success is more attainable and easily accessible when Christ Jesus is involved. Therefore look up to him, for he is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Why Are You Disregarding The Lord!

Why Are You Disregarding The Lord!

Often times, we forget too soon the hand that has brought us that far. We turn to disregard him when we feel and think all is well with us, only to fall back at his mercy again, when we think the going has become tougher to handle. Do you think this is right?

Why are you playing hide and seek games with the Almighty? Why are you disregarding his presence in your daily affairs? Don't you know it is a sign of great disrespect towards your Maker? Come on, repent now, and give him his place in your life (Matthew 6:33)!

Always have this at the back of your mind that, you can never be at the mercy of the enemy until you disregard the Lord. Have you not heard about Jonah, Zedekiah and all the rest in the bible, who suffered great consequences because of their disregard for the Lord? Don't be a victim, for it is not a nice experience to behold.

Why are you disregarding the Lord in your plans? Who told you, you can do all by yourself? Don't think everything you have achieved is by your strength,  knowledge and power. Hell no! You wouldn't have gotten this far, if not by God's grace. So think deep and act wisely.

Never think you can do anything without God, and be successful (John 15:4-5). For without him, all you do will certainly be in vain ( Psalm 127:1).

Therefore, lie low (humble yourself) and let the Lord be the centre of all you do (giving him the needed respect and honour due him) in your life. And you will be regarded accordingly by all, because of the Lord's grace that will come upon your life.

Don't be too full of yourself,  just be humble and give reverence to your anchor (God) while you progress in life. It will be for your own good.

Be Mindful How You Payback!

 Be Mindful How You Payback!

It is logically and humanly right to payback what you owe, and so is it with the spiritual. However, though in the flesh you can choose to pay evil with evil, it is never so with the spirit.

In view of the above, everyone of us must and need to payback what we owe. Meanwhile, we ought to be mindful how we do the payback.

It is not good for someone to sacrifice dearly for your sake and you paying back with a reverse action. Can you imagine how you will feel, if you were in that position? Sella!

The Lord has laid down his life for you, that you can be recognised and have boldness towards the throne of grace. How have you paid him back?

Instead of living for him and loving him as a friend, you dare go about tarnishing his image with reckless living. Are you not ashamed?

Why do you choose to be an ingrate, do you know what you are inviting unto your own self? I don't think you know. If you knew, you would by now strive to seek the Lord earnestly (Isaiah 55:6).

Do not think the Lord requires you to pay for what he does for you. Never! Even if he requires that, can you pay?

All that he requires from you, is for you to have a constant fellowship with him. That which is going to be to your own benefit (not his).

He only needs you to be an example to the believers (1 Timothy 4:12), so that through you his glory may be revealed. That is all.

Is this too hard to do for someone who despised not the shame accompanying his actions, stood in your stead and gave you life and freedom? Think about this and all the other things you do not deserve but enjoy by the grace of God, and rethink into how you are paying back to the Lord. Be Sincere and truthful!

Answer Your Call!

 Answer Your Call!

Many of us like sheep have gone astray, each running helter-skelter away from our core mandates (Isaiah 53:6). Why should this be? We go physically before the Lord daily, but our hearts, minds and souls are far from him. Why?

Is there anything hindering your companionship with the Lord? What at all are you seeking that the Lord can not provide? Even all that you have now, is it not by his grace that you have them? So why don't you want to answer his call? Sella!

The Lord has brought you this far for a purpose. And it is for this reason that he is constantly knocking at your door with his call (Revelation 3:20). Come on, Answer him!

Do not be an ingrate to turn your back on him. For it would be foolishness on your path to do so. You know why? Because he will recompense you in your own coin.

You can never deceive God, neither can you outsmart him, because before you were, he was (John 1:1; Galatians 6:7). Hence, it will be better for you to dance by his tune, than you trying to create your own tune (Psalm 119).

It doesn't matter what the situation and conditions are, just be humble to answer your call to destiny, and everything will be alright.

Don't be afraid, and don't be foolishly wise in your own eyes. Just forecast into the future where you want to be, then cast your mind back to the past where you have come from, compare the two to your present and look up to the Lord in readiness to answer your call, so that everything will turn around for your good.

Never Break Your Covenant!

 Never Break Your Covenant!

It is one thing to have a covenant with someone and another thing to make a vow. However, each of them has their own consequences when broken.

While you can decide to break a vow someway somehow with less effect, it is very dangerous to break a convenant (especially, one made with God).

Many of us in diverse ways, find ourselves in situations that compels us to make certain covenants (knowingly or unknowingly). Though not bad, the question is, are we sincerely abiding to those covenants? Sella!

It is easy to make covenants, but somehow difficult to diligently abide by it. Hence my Dear, you need to be more critically sceptical when making certain covenants.

If you know you will not be disciplined enough to abide by the norms of covenant- keeping, do not engage in it at all. For it is better not to vow, than to vow and not fulfill it (Ecclesiastes 5:4-6).

My Dear, God is a covenant keeping God, therefore if you want to test his faithfulness by entering into a covenant with him, be prepared enough to keep your side of the covenant. For he does not delight in the empty praises of fools.

Be the good believer God requires you to be, but do not be in haste to make covenants. However, if you enter into one (especially with God), be careful never to break your covenant. For there is a great price to pay for it. Be wise.

Don't Be Offended In The Lord!

Don't Be Offended In The Lord!

Do you know it is easy to be offended and offend others? As far as you are human, this would by all means happen in life.

However, under no condition should you be offended in the Lord, for he does what is right and best at his own time.

Many times when we are criticized, we become offended, which shouldn't be so always. Why? Because, some criticisms are constructive, to shape you for the better.

It is such criticisms that aligns with the word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17), and makes us acceptable before God.

Being in the Lord, or knowing and accepting to be a child of God is never an easy task (truth be told), it comes with so many challenges and sacrifices. But in all, there is no need to be offended in the Lord.

God has a purpose for whatever you go through as a child of God, and has prepared a blessing in it for you. Therefore, don't be too quick to be offended in your service to him. Rather, rejoice with the hope that better things are ahead for you.

No matter how difficult it may be, the Lord will not leave you to perish (John 3:16). He will bless you if you are not offended in him (Matthew 11:6). Hence, be wise and hold your peace.

Have The Zeal To Urge On!

Have The Zeal To Urge On!

It is good to be active and productive, but you need zeal to drive you on. Not just the zeal, but that which is backed by knowledge (Romans 10:2). For with that, you will be able to urge on with great consistency.

Friend, it doesn't matter what you do or that which you have at your disposal, if you are able to apply a little zeal to it, you will be prosperous and you will have the urge to progress steadily. Sella!

The world today is revolving at an unprecedented rate, with no one able to tell what is next. However, with your zeal and the ability to urge on, you will be able to pull through the odds towards achieving your purpose on earth. Thus, have the zeal to urge on.

Do not look at the environment around you, nor the fears that grips you within. All you need is to set your mind and focus on your target in life (your purpose - why you are here). For that is the force to ignite your zeal daily.

There is a glory set for you, and you need to work hard to attain that glory. So have the zeal to urge on till you attain that glory.

It is for you, and you are the only one to workout for it (Philippians 2:12). Hence, think and play your cards well. For there is no more time left for you to waste on earth. Sella!

Dedicate What You Have To God!

Dedicate What You Have To God!

All good and perfect gift comes from the Lord (James 1:17), and for that matter it is best to dedicate what you have to God. For it is he who has blessed you with that which you have (1 Corinthians 4:7).

It doesn't matter the effort you put in nor the resources you spend, what you should know is that it is the Lord who has made it possible for you, so you need to dedicate it all to the Lord.

It would be more pleasing to even dedicate your whole being to God, for that is what the Lord requires (Romans 12:1-2).

My Dear, if you really yearn to succeed in life, you must first dedicate what you have to God. For he will receive, prune and multiply it in hundred and thousand folds for you (Matthew 6:33).

Remember, he is the great provider, the Almighty and all knowing. Don't be wise in your own eyes, for that is great foolishness (1 Corinthians 3:19). Be wise!

You Need To Go Through That Furnace!

You Need To Go Through That Furnace!

It is logical and rational to be afraid of the hot furnace, but it is worthy to go through it to come out refined as gold.

Many times when we are faced with trials and temptations, we are forced to either pretend to hide away or avoid them. However my dear, it is sometimes best to go through them, than to run away from them (James 1:2-4).

There is no temptation that is beyond your control dear friend (1 Corinthians 10:13), you have the capacity to go through it. Why, because you are more than a conqueror. And with the temptation, you will come out refined and fortified like the gold from the hottest furnace.

No matter the situation you are going through now, do not be perturbed, just have a positive mind and attitude towards it, and victory will be yours. For though weeping may last for a night, joy will certainly come in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

It is good to go through that furnace beloved, for without you subjecting to the heat of the furnace (struggles of life), the hidden treasures in you may never see the light of the day. Sella!

Think about how far you have come, and the things that really motivated you to the stage you are in life. And you would testify that it is good to go through the furnace. Just think and analyse your life very well.

How Significant Is Your Reign!

 How Significant Is Your Reign!

As kings and queens rule in their reigns, so are we made to rule in our reigns (1 Peter 2:9-10). However, it is the significance of the reign that makes it possible to remember the reign of the kings and queens. Hence, how significant is your reign?

It is now your turn to rule, what are you doing to make your reign that significant? In the family, everyone is looking up to you. What impact are you creating? Are you leading them to Christ by establishing peace or you are scattering them with your ill-mannered and selfish desires?

My Dear, as far as you are living and active, wherever you find yourself is a position for you to rule the land (as a child of God). Hence, there is a need for there to be significance in your reign. Therefore, strive to make positive impact in your reign.

As a matter of fact, you are reigning in your present state, therefore let there be significance in your reign. Be steadfast with your principles and values, making sure that it is in line with the will of the Lord.

For it is only with this that the significance of your reign will be made evident before God and to all.

Bear this in mind and rule your world with dignity.

The barrenness is over!

 The barrenness is over!

Do you feel empty without any better fruit in your life? Are you weighed down because of how and what others see in you? Oh don't worry, the barrenness is over.

Don't fret your soul over how others are making it in life, or what they have now. You will certainly have yours in due time, for your barren days are over.

Rejoice oh child of God, for your delay is not denial. It is indeed a fallow period to make your life blossom beautifully and better. For the Lord decides to delay at times to straighten our paths and strengthen our faith. Your situation may be same or otherwise. But in all, you need to keep your faith and hope high, because the barren days are over.

It is very tempting to worry and fret about unplanned negative situations in our lives, but if you could hold on to God in faith, you would really understand why certain things happen the way they do. For God reveals the secret things of this world to them that are his (Deuteronomy 29:29).

Oh yes! Your barrenness is over, but for you to really see the effect, you need to set the Lord before you (Psalm 16:8) and rest in his love (Matthew 11:28-30). For he has commanded and established that you should be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28). Therefore, where cometh barrenness?

Come on, get up and shake off every barrenness in your life, and match forward into your greatness now in Jesus mighty name. Amen!

Pray For Others!

 Pray For Others!

Prayer, they say can move mountains, and it is the major surest way to communicate to God. Through prayer burdens are lifted with souls revived. Prayer indeed is the key.

Though it is good to pray for ourselves, it becomes more expedient to pray for others. For it is in so doing that our Christ-likeness will be revealed.

My dear, no matter how prayerful you are, if you do not consider others in your prayers, then you are just one of the selfish believers. On the other hand, when you pray for others, you exhibit maturity in faith. For as you pray for others, your personal needs indirectly are catered for (because others will be praying for you also).

Therefore my Dear friend, let us not be overwhelmed with our personal issues, rather let's strive to show empathy and intercede for our brethren when we go on our knees to pray. For such is what the Lord requires from us (Romans 15:1).

There no need to physically see the affliction of your brethren before you pray for him or her. Just as you pray for yourself over everything, so must you considerably pray for others.

Remember, a prayer you may say today might save someone's future tomorrow. So do not faint in praying for others. For it is a good seed you are sowing for greater harvest some day. Sella!

Look into The Bigger Picture!

 Look into The Bigger Picture!

Have you realized that, for the fear of our present struggles and future uncertainties, most of us make conclusive decisions without looking into the bigger picture? Oh yes, all we think about is what will satisfy our quest for freedom and safety now.

Meanwhile, to have a fulfilled life, we ought to look into the bigger picture of our lives considering the impact of our decisions and actions on everything around us. This is because, until you focus on the future to bring your forecast into the present, your decisions will be short lived.

Look into the bigger picture my Dear, consider the odds and the even, the bad and the good, and everything that will make your life complete. For everything that happens in life is for good, because it comes with a purpose to make you better (Romans 5:3-5).

No matter what you go through in life, remember to analyse and assess your decisions holistically. For that will make your decisions complete and precise.

Dear friend, in spite of all these, without God, every step you take in life will be perfectly incomplete. Since without him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). For it is only with God (through his word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit) that we can boldly look into the bigger picture of our lives (Matthew 6:33).

Hence, seek the Lord in all things so that you will be able to look deep into the bigger picture, and have a well defined and complete life.

Only God's Counsel Will Stand!

 Only God's Counsel Will Stand!

Many are the plans of the wicked, but the Lord delivers us from them all (Job 5:12). These words assure us daily that it is only the counsel of the Lord that will be manifested in our lives. It doesn't matter what men will say or do, what the Lord has professed about you is what will stand tall in your life.

Does this just happen like that? No! You need to be in tune with that which is professed (the word of God). You can not stay without and eat the good of the land within (Revelation 22:15-17). You must stand with the Lord (Mark 9:40).

My dear friend, it doesn't matter the trials, temptations and persecutions you may face in life, if you are for God, nothing will harm you, but only the counsel of God will stand for you.

Why because, his words are true and they never return void until the mission for which they are sent is accomplished(Isaiah 55:11).

Therefore, it is up to you to define your stance with God, moving away from the odd and staying true to him. For it is in so doing that you will really fathom the essence and potency of his counsel.

A lot will happen in your life, but only the counsel of God will stand. As to whether the counsel will be positive or negative, it is for you to determine with reference to your stance with God. Sella!

It Doesn't Matter Where You've Been!

It Doesn't Matter Where You've Been!

Many times we allow the past to judge our present, even into the future for fear of uncertainty. But hey! That is wrong, even though the present or future may reflect the past, the past doesn't have any power to determine your future, you do!

It doesn't matter where you have been in the past, what matters is where you are now and what you are doing to perfect where you want to be tomorrow. Sella!

Do you remember the adage that says "the end justifies the means"? Oh yes, it is always true. Though the beginning of every step matters, the end matters the most (Ecclesiastes 7:8).

Hence, it doesn't matter where you've been in life. All that matters is the focus you carry and the destination of your forecast.

While many may start well, but may not end right, others may have tough and hazy beginnings but will at the end make it great. All this means is that, your vision is what is needed to carry you to the right destination in your life.

Therefore, strive to have a vision for your life. Not just a vision, but that which is in line with God's vision (His will) for your life.

For with this, no matter how the circumstances may be, without focusing on where you have been, you will get to the perfect destination set for your life. Remember Matthew 6:33!

Rejoice In Tribulation!

 Rejoice In Tribulation!

It is indeed painful to go through tribulations. However, it is sometimes prudent to rejoice in tribulations. You know why? It is not all the tribulations we face that come to destroy us. Some come to strengthen us, while others come as eye-openers in our lives. Hence, the need to rejoice in tribulation.

Rejoice in your tribulation my dear, in no time your joy will overflow. For the present trial you face is just to alert you of how grounded you are in your faith.

Be patient with the Lord in your time of distress, for he never called you to destroy you nor your future. Rather, to prepare you for the greater glory set before you.

Do not be perturbed, but count it all joy when tribulations come your way(James 1:2-3). For they come to caution, direct and realign you unto God.

Though some may be difficult to experience, it is wise to endure, because the aftermath glory will definitely surpass the present suffering.

Just keep trusting in the Lord (Proverbs 3:5-6), and you will know how to rejoice greatly no matter the tribulation that comes your way. For he is with you always.

Don't Think The Lord Is Delaying!

Don't Think The Lord Is Delaying!

Why are you so worried and perplexed? Do you think the delay is too much for you to bear? Oh don't worry, it is but for a moment and for a purpose.

Don't think the Lord is delaying with his promises in your life. For every promise is for an appointed time, and as far as it has been apportioned to a set time, it will surely come to past in Jesus name.

Do not think about the delay, rather seek to know the purpose behind the delay. For it is with this that you will be able to trust your progress and your faith increased in the Lord.

Don't be like the unbelievers, who easily turn away from the Lord in times of difficulties with the excuse that he is delaying, rather be encouraged in your faith to trust the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). For he knows what he is doing (Jeremiah 29:11).

Come on my Dear, the Lord is never late (Ecclesiastes 3:11), and don't think he is delaying, whatever is due to be performed in your life, will surely be accomplished in Jesus name. Amen!

Let God Be True And Every Man A Liar!

Let God Be True And Every Man A Liar!

What rumour have you heard about yourself? What is the concern of people about you? And how do you present yourself to others? Have you taken notice of that? Sella!

Meanwhile, it doesn't matter how people see you to be, what matters is how pleasant you are before God (Romans 12:1-2). For it is the judgement of God over your life that stands strong.

Let God be true and every man a liar my Dear! Do not be moved by the empty threats of this world, rather be more concerned by the unadulterated instructions of God (the Word of God).

For it is only the Word of God that never goes out and comes back void (it accomplishes every mission for which it has been sent). Every other word (of men) may alter at any time. Sella!

Therefore, it is better to stay with God and grow progressively, than to follow the deception of the world and perish in no time.

Remember, God's plan for you is for life and peace (Jeremiah 29:11). Hence, let only him be true and every other creature a liar, as you take your steps to succeed in Jesus mighty name. Amen!

Worry No More, Your Lord Is Here!

Worry No More, Your Lord Is Here!

There are times when all hope is lost, when the journey to life become so dim and blur filled with fear and anxieties, without any hope of surviving. But hey! Stay put, worry no more for your Lord is here.

Oh yes, the Lord is here to restore back everything that you have lost. Is it your joy, peace, happiness, health or what? Do not worry, you will be fulfilled again.

It doesn't matter what you are going through, nor what the wicked thinks he is doing against your life, what is written is written. Your victory has been won, and as far as the Lord is here with you, you shall be restored. For no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Say to yourself, I am victorious! And so will it be. Arise, dust off the sinking sand off your feet, take away the sack clothing, wipe off your tears and rejoice in praise. For your light has come (Isaiah 60:1-2).

No amount of the wicked's afflictions can deny you of your glory when your Lord is here. For he alone will fight for you and you will hold your peace in victory (Exodus 14:14). Hallelujah!

Do You Truly Seek The Lord!

Do You Truly Seek The Lord!

Many are they that call on the name of the Lord, but the truth is, not all draw the attention of the Lord. For his eyes are on those that diligently seek him (Psalm 33:18). Do you seek the Lord?

Are you sure you are seeking the Lord? If so, why are you having divided attention? Why are you walking without your faith in the Lord? And why are you looking out for help elsewhere when you truly know that the believer's help comes and only comes from the Lord (Psalm 121)?

Oh come on! Don't be a hypocrite. Seek the Lord while he is near (Isaiah 55:6). Seek him wherever he may be found, and make him your refuge (Psalm 91:2). For the Lord yearns to have that fellowship with you.

You can never say the Lord is far away from you. He is very near, when you seek him, you will surely find him. For he is the good shepherd (John 10:11-18). Seek him and he will be your shepherd too (Psalm 23:1-6).

Do not waste any time again, put on your search light and seek the Lord with all your heart. And all that you want and hope for will be drawn to your bosom.

For the Lord is the unchanging God, his promises are sure. He will honour his word concerning you. Just seek him and be determined to stay with him at all times. He is there for you (Isaiah 41:10).

How Responsible Have You Been!

 How Responsible Have You Been!

Many of us have made shipwrecks of our mandates and responsibilities. Instead of being dutiful in our tasks, we turn to run away or hide from them. Why?

Could it be fear, incompetence, or it is sheer  irresponsibility? Have you really assessed yourself in this regard? If not, it would be more appropriate to do so.

How responsible have you been with all that have been entrusted to your care? Your family, friends, members, job and others, how have you handled them? Do you instruct, correct, discipline, console and direct when necessary? Or you are just allowing everything to be as they could? Be responsible!

Whatever God has given to you, it is for you to be responsible and a good shepherd over them. Why, because you will be accountable for everyone of them. Sella!

Therefore my Dear, lay aside all fears, gather the courage and be a responsible shepherd. For God requires you to feed his sheep with good pasture, full of nutrition (every good thing that will make life better and worthy), not to just rear them.

It is with this that all will see and know how responsible you have been and will be. Don't be a disappointment, train yourself and build yourself up to be responsible as required, oh shepherd!

Turn From That Sin!

 Turn From That Sin!

Almost everyone of us is guilty of one sin or another as we live on earth. This is very evident in the scripture that, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

However, God does not want any of us to perish (Romans 6:23). So he admonishes us to repent, that we may be restored back to him and the promise set aside for us (1 John 1:9). Why delay?

Have you forgotten so soon, that he says "come to me all that are heavy laden and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30)? Come on, turn away from that sin that weighs you down and seek the Lord.

For it is better to enter the kingdom of God maimed, than to go into eternal condemnation (Matthew 18:8).

Therefore, do not let any sin pull you away from your blessing and glory, flee from any thing attributable to sin in your life and save your posterity in Christ Jesus. For it is the Lord's desire that you may have life and have it more abundantly. Be wise and repent now!

Be First With Christ And Last With The World!

Be First With Christ And Last With The World!

It has become increasingly difficult for many to live for Christ, because of worldly pleasures which last not (Philippians 1:21-22). Many go about pleasing their own desires at the expense of the will of God. Friends, this leads to great danger. And you may fall short of the glory set before you (Romans 3:23).

Instead of being first with the world without any lasting gain, why not be first with Christ and last with the world? Remember, there is great gain in Christ (Matthew 6:33).

No one has promised an easy journey with Christ, but there is great assurance that in God you will make it through to your victory (Jeremiah 29:11; Philippians 1:6).

Hence, it is better to be on the Lord's side (MHB 820), than to follow the deceptive pleasures of the world. For with God all things are possible, but the same can never be said with the world (Matthew 19:26).

Be wise and smart to choose the best for your life (to be first with Christ), for you deserve better. Sella!

What Is Your Legacy!

 What Is Your Legacy!

Do you know that it is by someone's legacy that you are living (John 3:16)? Oh yea! Your predecessors laid down good foundation for you (MHB 402), what are you also doing as a legacy to your credit? Sella!

Are you longing to make the legacy better, or you are ignorantly destroying the toils of your fathers? My Dear, it is time for you to sit up, think straight and protect your legacy.

What song would people sing about you in your absence? Would it be songs of praise, regret or mockery? Think!

Be ware of the legacy you create, for it will travel even to your tenth and eleventh generations. Remember that, if you do good you do for yourself. And the reverse is also true.

What legacy are you building for your children, the church, the nation, your community and even yourself? Is it that which will stand the test of time? Or that which will die with you?

Be wise and have a succession plan. Make a legacy that is worthy of praise to God and to your posterity.

Don't be a failure to God and the few that trust you. For the lives of many are in your hands, if you don't know. Be diligent and wise.

What Is Preventing You!

 What Is Preventing You!

Do you know you have a charge to keep, and a God to glorify? Why then are you hesitating on fulfilling the task? What is preventing you?

What at all are you ashamed of? Is it because of the sheer criticisms, or the mockery? Oh come on, who is on your side (Matthew 28:20)?

If Jesus Christ and the famous followers of his persevered and prevailed in fulfilling their core mandates in spite of all the negativities, why can't you?

Why would you allow certain fruitless arrangements prevent you from achieving your aim as a child of God? Friend, you better wise up and prove your stance (2 Timothy 2:15).

Do not be ashamed of who you are, nor what you have been tasked to do. For many wish to be in your position. Moreso,  if you are ashamed, then you are causing harm to your own self and destiny (  Luke 9:26).

Many are called but few are chosen. Therefore if you want to be among the chosen few, cut off the shame, get to the field and make every minute count.

Let No One Take Your Glory!

Let No One Take Your Glory!

There is a spectacular glory upon your life which needed not to be traded for anything. For God himself has placed it upon your life. Hence, let no one take that glory.

The moment you decided to yield your being to God, you were placed under his coverage, which is his glory. For you enjoy everything good and profitable as a son  or daughter (John 1:12). Why trade that glory for ashes?

Dear friend, do not trade nor allow anyone to take your glory, for it is that which makes you relevant in your domain.

Why should you follow the vanity of this world and miss the glory of God? Don't you know it is all vanity (Ecclesiastes 1:2)! Oh come on, it is better to be poor in the Lord with wisdom, than to gain the riches and powers of this world and remain foolish (Ecclesiastes 4:13).

Christ in you, is the hope of your glory (Colossians 1:27). Why then, would you move away in search of hope elsewhere? Or why would you chase away your glory to another with your treacherous ways against the will of God for your life?

My friend, be wise and possess your possessions. Repent, and seek the Lord now (Matthew 6:33), he will answer (Jeremiah 33:3), forgive you (1 John 1:9) and you will possess your glory.

Why Walk In The Imaginations Of Your Heart!

Why Walk In The Imaginations Of Your Heart!

It is a fact that many of us are mostly influenced to follow our instincts and thoughts as we journey in life. Though it is good to pay attention to our instincts, is it necessary to do that, overlooking the will of God? Sella!

It is true that God has given us wisdom and the will power to act, but he never did that for you to set him aside. Rather, he requires you to put his will first in all things (Matthew 6:33). If so, why are you walking in your own imaginations?

Do you not know that it is very dangerous to walk solely in your imaginations? Oh yes, it is vanity ( Ecclesiastes 1:2-11).

If all that you seek and do is for nothing but for your selfish gains amidst sheer wickedness, why follow your imaginations?

My dear, it is better for you to seek the Lord's will in all you do than to follow your heart and perish (Jeremiah 13:1-10). For God will reward they that diligently seek him graciously, but for the wicked, he will recompense them according to their evil imaginations (Ezekiel 7:1-4).

Hence think, be wise and make the right decision to seek the Lord always, even now, while he is near (Isaiah 55:6). Do not walk in your own wicked imaginations anymore. It is, but deception. Be Wise!

Leave It To Him If You Have Asked!

Oh yes, we are to ask, seek and knock and we shall receive our responses (Matthew 7:7), but what is the essence of you asking and going your own way to get answers? Is that not unbelieve (Mark 9:23)?

Why not leave everything to the Lord to deal with, if you have truly asked him? He will never disappoint you. For his word never goes out and comes back void (Isaiah 55:11).

My Dear, if you believe you have asked the Lord that which is on your heart, then do not worry, just leave it to his care and he will answer ( Jeremiah 33:3).

Though a day is like thousand years before the Lord, know that thousand years is also just like a day before him (2 Peter 3:8). So do not worry too much. You may never know why the delay in the response to your request. Who knows? The road may be too rough for you to travel now, just stay in tuned with the Lord. He will answer!

How Are You Doing The Work!

How Are You Doing The Work!

Everyone of us is assigned to a task on earth, but how are we doing the work? Have you thought of your assignment to even wonder how responsible you can be for that assignment? Sella!

You have a task, how are you doing it? Are you doing it anyhow or you are meticulous about every step you take in doing your work? Think!

Whether you are a father, mother, child, old or young, a believer or an unbeliever, you have a work to do on earth and you must do it right, not deceitfully (Jeremiah 48:10).

You can not run away from your responsibility (Jonah 1,2), neither can you assign that which is your responsibility to another (you will by all means find yourself in want in due time). For what a man sows, that will he reap (Galatians 6:7).

Therefore, if you believe it is God who has created you and given you life till date, then you must do whatever work he has given you very well. It may not be any task in the church, but even in your own life (do it well).

For the day of accountability is coming, and you can not run away from that (Revelation 22:12). Be wise and responsible now, tomorrow might be too late for you. Sella!

Accept Your Condition First!

 Accept Your Condition First!

Many of us are living a lie, why? Because we have refused to accept our states in life. Meanwhile truthfully, until you accept your present condition, you can never get an antidote for it.

It is better to know that you are sick, for a physician to come to your aid, than to foolishly claim you are healthy to die of a minor sickness. Sella!

You know you are not perfect, why then claim to be all-knowing and holier than thou? My friend, repent and seek for wisdom!

Until you accept your current state, your next step in life will be misguided. Hence, it will be best for you to thoroughly examine yourself, accepting your ups and downs and making the necessary moves that should be made. For such are the ways of the wise.

What is the gain in it, to claim you are righteous when you are full of secret sins. Friend, repent and accept your condition (you are a sinner). For if you claim to be without sin, you are a liar and even make God a liar too (1 John 1:8-10). Is that what you mean?

Don't be deceived, you can never deceive anybody. Whatsoever you sow, you shall reap (Galatians 6:7). Therefore, be wise, accept your condition today and seek for help.

You Did Not Choose God, He Did!

You Did Not Choose God, He Did!

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). This is the greatest favour we enjoy, not that we are sovereign in our own capacity.

I do not want to believe that you have forgotten about this privilege so soon, like you will not behave the way you do. But will always be conscious of your allegiance to God. For he has chosen you and not you.

Hence, you need to be mindful of how you relate to God and the manner with which you respond to his instructions. Bear in mind that it is his grace that is upon you(2 Corinthians 12:9), not your might(Zechariah 4:6).

Therefore be humble, diligent and sober when you are before the Lord. For he knows you and your situation more than you know (Jeremiah 1:5; Jeremiah 29:11).

Stop the insolence and reverence the Lord as you ought to do. For he did not choose you to be wayward, but he chose you so that he will shape and refine you for the better, why not allow him?

Be wise, be a true worshipper and a good disciple. For this is enough for you. Think deep and realign your ways.

It Is Time To Act!

 It Is Time To Act!

Is the day not bright? Is all not set already for you? My friend, get out from your laziness and do something. For it is time to act, not to procrastinate.

For how long will you keep tip toeing? When are you waiting to do the needful? Is it when all your bones are weakened, or when you think all your needed resources will be available?

My friend, don't be a fool! If those are your thoughts, then you will never grow in any way. For time waits for no man. Neither will that which you need come to you, unless you act towards achieving them.

Now is the time to act. A step in the right direction can change your story for the better. Why waste the time? Get up and act.

Assemble your thoughts together properly, go out for good counsel from diligent and trusted people, and be wise to make the right decision. For in the multitude of counsellors, there is liberty (Proverbs 11:14).

There is no time to waste in our current dispensation. So if you have anything to do, you must do it fast. For now is the time to act, not later. Sella!

How Do You Carry Yourself!

 How Do You Carry Yourself!

Do you know that how you carry and present yourself matters a lot? Oh yea, it does! This is why the holy book admonishes us to present our bodies as living sacrifice,  holy and acceptable to God (Romans 12:1-2), knowing very well the challenges around.

My Dear, how you carry yourself about in your vicinity portrays who you are to others, and goes a long way to influence the sort of reactions you get from people. Sella!

While some are favoured, others are being negatively stigmatized, all because of how they carry themselves in their societies.

Beloved, it is high time you help others frame the right impression about you. For that influences their definition of who you are to them. And the kind of perception they form about you, goes a long way to influence the feedback you get on your identity (whether a reward or punishment in diverse forms).

Think about this! If Saul, in the bible (1 Samuel 18:1-12) could reward David and at the same time hate him, per his impression on him and the perception of others about him, what do you think would be your fate looking at the way you carry yourself about now? Sella!

Dear friend, life is not all about who you think you are and what you think you have alone, nor the kind of people you want around you. It entails a lot. Hence, be mindful of how you behave and carry yourself in your environment. Be Wise!

Get It Right, Don't Rush!

 Get It Right, Don't Rush!

It is mostly obvious that many of us are struggling in life because we rush in making decisions, never getting things right as God has purposed for our wellbeing.

Getting things done or accomplished can never be compared to getting the right things done. Sella! Of course, doing the right things at their rightful moments is more satisfactory than just accomplishing many tasks in life. Hence, it is better to get it right, than to rush in life.

Do not allow the conditions around rush you into doing things just like that, rather be motivated by the Spirit of God and the Word of God in the midst of your struggles and act right in everything you do.

For it is rewarding to be right with and before God, than to be right in the sight of men. For the wisdom of men is foolishness unto God  (1 Corinthians 3:19).

Hence, think and re-think through your thoughts and plans before you make any decision in your life. That you may be right and not rush in life.

They Planned, But Will Never Succeed!

They Planned, But Will Never Succeed!

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them from it all (Psalm 34:19). Is this not what the word of God says? Why then do you worry? Have faith, be courageous in the Lord and focus on the Lord.

For though the wicked plans evil for you, none will harm you. If you truly believe and have faith in the Lord, let your hope be set on high. For the Lord is right there by your side. He is fighting your course, for so has he promised (Exodus 14:14).

Thus, though your enemies plan and press on to distort your ways, never will they succeed, for you have an advocate who is greater and mightier than them all. He will deliver you.

So don't worry, rejoice in your heart and let your soul make merry for though they count your days into sorrow, their counting will be turned into your count of joy, victory and glory in Jesus name. Amen.

Why Call The Lord In Vain!

Why Call The Lord In Vain!

Is it not said, that the true worshippers will worship the Lord in spirit and in truth (John 4:23)? Why then do you call the name of the Lord vainly? Where is the truth nor the righteousness in you calling on the name of the Lord?

Be careful, for God can not be mocked (Galatians 6:7-8). You can not go about bathing in the mud of sin and masking your filtiness with the name of the Lord.

Do not think you are being wise, for it is foolishness to deceive your own self. Friend, if you are for God be for him and with him always,  obeying every instruction in the Word. For they that know their God, are known by their works. They are strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32) without hypocrisy or blasphemy.

In view of this my Dear, be diligent and responsible in your service to God. So that you do not do things contrary to the Word of God ( Just like calling the name of the Lord in vain).

Note this however that, as children of God, we are to do everything with focus on the Lord and even pray in the name of the Lord, but not to misuse the the name of our Lord. Sella!

Stay blessed!

Fellowship One With Another!

 Fellowship One With Another!

Often when we talk about fellowshipping then the focus is turned to the church, but hey! What you do in church does not truly define fellowship.

Fellowship has no bounds, it is a way of life.  It goes a long way to influence your character if diligently practised with positivity.

As every engagement comes with its blessings, so does fellowship. It is like precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard (Psalm 133).

Thus, a godly fellowship can make your life glow everywhere you be. Likewise,  fellowship with the wicked can mess up your life. Hence, be circumspect in your fellowshipping.

You can never claim to love God and not have the zeal to fellowship. For as he is so shall we be (1 John 4:17).

Therefore, if he has shared his love abroad for all, why are you holding back on fellowshipping with one another?

Come on! Lay off the pride, take up the coat of love and with humility be companion one to another. For it is in so doing that you will be edified greatly to the glory of God.

Be devoted to this, and God will honour you. For it pleases him when we fellowship ( Hebrews 13:16).

Delay Is Not Denial!

 Delay Is Not Denial!

Many of us become troubled when certain promises are delayed in our lives, and are sometimes influenced to do things in our own ways, neglecting the ways of the Lord.

My Dear, never be in a haste, for delay is not denial. Know that, the promises of God are Yea and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20), and as far as it has been promised it will surely come to past.

Hence, stop the rush and worry and focus on the necessary things to be done and do them accordingly. For you will be rewarded accordingly.

It is better to wait on the Lord in diligence and dedication, than to sit aloof or do things in your own wish and desires. For whatever the Lord has said, he will surely do. Just be patient and do the right thing.

Be Real In Your Worship!

 Be Real In Your Worship!

Do you know that everything you do is an act of worship? Oh yes it is, hence be ware of your worship and be real in it.

The reality of your worship shows the intent of your worship. Sella!

Hence, be real in your worship.

In your worship, let your words and actions commensurate together. For no true worship comes out in confusion.

Never limit your worship to only church service, or any religious activity. Know that every action of yours is a way of worship (even how you talk), so be mindful of what you do.

My Dear, it pays greatly to always act with meaning, knowing that it is a way of worship to God.

Do not be overly wise in your own eyes, but in view of the Word of God, let your worship be real and pleasant to God.

Whatever you do, do it very well. For you will account for it soon (Revelation 22:11-12).

Be a true worshipper and let the reality of your worship glorify the Lord.

Who Are You: Wise Or Foolish?

Who Are You: Wise Or Foolish?

It is very important to know who you are and what your actions defines you to be. Why because, many are living a lie in their lives.

Often times we claim to be wise per what we do or think, never knowing it is all subject to foolishness before God. For the wisdom of men is foolishness unto God (1 Corinthians 3:18-19). Sella!

Who are you? Are you wise or foolish? Do you classify the things you do and say as wise? If so, have you tested them on God's litmus paper (the word of God)? Proverbs 3:7.

Dear friend, you may never know who truly you are if you don't align your whole being and actions to God and his Word. For the Word of God is the reflection of God (John 1:1-3). And as a mirror, it reflects who we are in God.

Never acclaim to be wise when you are not. For the wise do not view things in their own eyes, but in the reflection of what God says.

It is better to be foolish in the eyes of men and be wise before God, than to be wise in the eyes of men and be tagged foolish before God. For God's reward, both to the wise and foolish is eternal.

Therefore my Dear, consider what the end of your life will be with all that you do and align yourself towards being wise before God. For such comes with great advantage both on earth and above. Be diligent!

Stay Blessed!

Same Mind With God!

 Same Mind With God!

What goals have you set for your life? Can you boast of having the same mind with God in those goals? If not my Dear, better revise your goals.

You can not claim to be for God and have a different mind from his. For two can never walk together except they agree (Amos 3:3).

What do you think is the essence of being a child of God? It is, that Christ may be revealed in you and in all that you do. Remember, it was for this same reason that the disciples were named Christians (Acts 11:22-26).

You can not be a christian and think or act like a pagan. Neither can you a believer, exude unbelieving and faithlessness. You need to be courageous, standing fast in faith, love and hope.

For God knows what is best, and all that is before you. Hence, he has not given you the spirit of fear... (2 Timothy 1:7).

Therefore my Dear Friend, get out of that pseudo mindset, stand boldly in faith and hope, and have the same mind with God always. For it is in so doing that you will fully behold his glory in your life. More importantly, in these trying moments.

Stay Blessed!

Keep Moving!

 Keep Moving!

There are times when you are influenced to hold back (not moving forward) with life's plans, or even something that you regularly do, for the fear of either the unknown or known circumstances that pose danger.

However, it is prudent to keep moving forward with what needs to be done. For time waits for no one, and  for sure you can not tell what lies ahead in life.

Dear friend in spite of all these, until your focus is built on God and the word which is the main guiding principle of life, your moving forward may be very difficult or even indented.

Hence, let the word of God be your map as you keep moving. For there are greater things ahead, but until you keep moving, you may never achieve them.

Be of good courage friend, keep moving on, and the Lord who has brought you this far will perfect all that concerns your wellbeing as you urge on without relenting.

God bless you and stay blessed!

Be On The Lord's Side, He is Your Refuge!

Be On The Lord's Side, He is Your Refuge!

The Lord is our only true refuge in these times, our ever present help in times of need. He alone will save and restore us. Run into his refuge now!

The words of the hymn below says it all, imbibe the words, and be restored with hope.

Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee; Let the water and the blood, From Thy wounded side which flowed, Be of sin the double cure; Cleanse me from its guilt and power.

Not the labours of my hands can fulfill Thy law’s demands; could my zeal no respite know, could my tears forever flow, all for sin could not atone; Thou must save, and Thou alone.

Nothing in my hand I bring, simply to the cross I cling; Naked, come to Thee for dress; Helpless look to Thee for grace; Foul, I to the fountain fly; Wash me, Saviour, or I die.

While I draw this fleeting breath, when mine eyes shall close in death, when my eye-strings break in death when I soar to worlds unknown, see Thee on Thy judgment throne, Rock of Ages, cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee. Amen.

Stay Blessed!

Praise the Lord, He is Merciful!

Praise the Lord, He is Merciful!

It is good to praise the Lord always, for his mercy endures forever.

Be inspired by the words of the hymn below;

Let us, with a gladsome mind, praise the Lord, for he is kind. For His mercies aye endure, ever faithful, ever sure.

Let us blaze His name abroad, For of gods he is the God.

He with all-commanding might, filled the new-made world with light.

All things living He doth feed, His full hand supplies their need.

Let us, with a gladsome mind, praise the Lord, for He is kind: For His mercies aye endure, ever faithful, ever sure.

The Lord is faithful, and he will show his might in this difficult times. Just have faith and trust the Lord. He will save you.

Stay Blessed!
