Obedience to instruction is one of the main keys to fulfilled life and peace. As the Holy book says, obedience is better than sacrifice. Obeying to avoid problem is far healthier than being in trouble and doing all you can to restore peace in your life. Sella.
Everyone has been blessed by God with people around him/her to give instruction one way or the other, so as to be guided. But many are following blindly and are being disobedient to godly instructions.
My friend, get wisdom and reverse your attitude. For no one knows the hour when the "had I know" phrase would be recited.
Value them that instruct you and value the instructions given. For they impact your life.
Meanwhile, you have to be skeptic and vigilant with the source of the instructions that come to you. This is why you need wisdom (Jesus: the Word of God) for so shall you find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Hold on to instruction, do not let it go, for it is your life my dear.
