Be Still And Know!
Why do you worry your soul, and force your spirit to faint within you pre-maturely? You run helter-skelter, not even knowing what to do in the name of seeking solution to your problems. Come on? Stop wasting your energy on that which profits less, and be still.
Be still and know that there is a better and greater solution to any situation on earth. And that is Jesus, the Saviour and Lord of all nations. Oh yes! He is the redemption to the World (John 3:16).
My dear, it is good to be active and proactive in all you do. However, until you become still before the Lord to seek his leading and guidance, all your activeness will be meaningless. Why? Because, there is no effective power backing it into fruition.
Indeed, you may seek other sources of power to back your actions but, there is no power as great as that of our Lord Jesus Christ. He alone has been given all power and authority to establish things (Matthew 28:18; Philippians 2:5-11).
As a matter of fact, being still alone may not hasten up the response to your plea earnestly. Therefore, you need to know to whom the plea is made and the bonding (relationship) that exist between you and that source.
My dear, you really have to be still before the Lord, and know that he is, and he's the rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).
For with him, no temptation will overtake you (1 Corinthians 10:13). He will make your path plain and your yoke very light (Matthew 11:28-30). Our God is great, therefore, be still and know that he is God.
Stay Blessed!
