The Essence Of His Death!

 The Essence Of His Death!

In times like these, many rejoice to experience the atmosphere of Easter, putting in all the needed preparations to grace the period. But have you taken the time to critically analyse the essence of Christ's death in your life?

We all like sheep, have gone astray... (Isaiah 53:6). We go by our daily routines, forgetting the vital reason for which we are still living.

Nothing on earth here, can measure against the great sacrifice of Christ's death for you. But what relevance do you place on this? Do you live to commensurate Christ's sacrifice for you? If not in same measure, have you showed a little effort to live to that? Be truthful to yourself.

Christ died, that you will be set free from bondage. But what are you doing? You are gradually drifting back into the same bondage from which you have been saved. Meanwhile, that is not the essence of his death for you.

The essence of Christ's death for you is that you may be saved and reconciled back to God (your first love). That you live not for yourself, but for God (2 Corinthians 5:14-15). Is that what you are doing now? Ask yourself!

Do not grieve the Lord any more.  Repent and make the sacrifice of his death relevant and worthy in your life. For just like the signpost, your life is directing as many people as you don't know. And the question is, where are you directing them to? Are you directing them to Christ, the world or to yourself?

Be mindful of this, and redirect your ways. For the essence of Christ's death must be made relevant in your life, so that all will see and give glory to the father (Matthew 5:16). This should be your agenda till the Lord comes. Enough of the disappointment.

Stay Blessed!

Stop Hiding!

 Stop Hiding!

Do you know that many of us if not all, are running away one way or the other from responsibilities attributable to us? Oh yes, even to the point of we deceiving ourselves, pretending to live right but running away from the call of God.

Friend, though you can run, you can never hide, especially when the eyes of the Lord is upon you.

If mere mortals can go the extra mile to track you when they have a stake in what you do, how much more God the omnipresent one?

Your presence on earth at this moment is not an accident, but for a purpose which needs to be accomplished.  And no other person can do that, but yourself. Hence, stop the drama of hiding.

Stop running helter skelter without knowing what to do nor where to go. Can't you sense that all your effort is being in vain? Why not submit to the call and be free?

There is a call on you to serve humanity, why are you running away from it? Your call may not be as that of the pastor nor teacher, but is very vital to transform someone's life. Why hide from it?

My dear, no matter how long and far you run away from that call or responsibility, you may never be at peace until you respond to that call. Just bear this in mind.

As there is time for everything under the sun, when the time for you to act is set, your hide out will be exposed, and you will have nothing to do than to obey the call.

However, if the time comes and you still remain adamant,  you will have no security than to bear the consequences that comes with the disobedience.

Would you stay to suffer the loss or you would live to rejoice with the Lord in gladness and in peace? Think about this carefully, and repent from hiding from your core mandate. You need to be responsible.

Stay Blessed!

Never Miss Out On God's Glory!

Never Miss Out On God's Glory!

The glory of God is available to all, but your availability makes its accessibility more easy. Thus, the more you avail yourself to enjoy God's glory, the greater the experience you gain.

Hence, it is better to be patient and rely on God in all circumstances, than to rush in self-righteousness  and miss out on God's glory. For it is the glory of God that makes one's path prosperous and smooth.

My dear friend, the distinction between the glory that comes from God and that which is humanly attained is made obvious  over time. Whereas human glory is short lived, God's glory is everlasting (knowing no bounds).

However, to be sustainable in the glory of God, you need to be steadfast, dedicated and diligent to God and his instructions in everything you do.

Also, no one can adequately please God without having a good fellowship with him. For it is through your relationship with him that your faith would be increased, and your trust be made steadfast in him. Thus with your trust in him, it would be difficult to miss out on his glory.

Therefore my dear, do all you can to remain relevant and steadfast in the Lord, that you do not miss out on his glory. For it is the glory of God that radiates our beauty and well being. So let's strive to live in His glory that others may testify to it.

Stay Blessed!

Never Lose Your Faith!

 Never Lose Your Faith!

It is somewhat difficult to hold on in faith when the reality of life is against you. You look around and is like all hope is lost. But my dear, it is never too late before God. He alone understands your plight. Hence, have faith in him.

Your faith is the only rescuer you have as the time passes by, to defend your stance in any situation. No matter how dreadful the circumstances may be, don't give up. Strive to exemplify your faith in the assurance of the Lord.

Never lose your faith dear friend, hold on tight to it. For a little while and your glory will shine, in spite of all that you go through.

Do not let the environment determine what you do, rather, prove to the environment that there is a greater force in you that never rest till you breakthrough the odds of life.

Oh yes, your faith will never disappoint you, if only you will cherish and exercise it judiciously no matter what may be in your life. For with faith, your hope is assured.

Therefore, never move without your faith. Let it be your weapon to breakthrough the odds of life. And remember that, without faith, it is impossible to please God. So have faith!

Stay Blessed!

Know The Importance of What You Have!

Do you know who you are? And have you critically probed introspectively what you have as a person?

What drives your passion and what really urges you to stay on? My dear, you can not joke with these questions. Know yourself.

It is very important to know who you are and what is in you, especially the things that influence your judgements and actions.

Meanwhile, it is not just enough to know who you are and what you have, but to know the importance and worth of what you have or carry.

Do not undermine yourself, for you carry the image of God. And this image impliedly gives you power and authority to act even in the name of Jesus (the son of the living God).

Why are you then living a low key life? Why are you discrediting the value upon your life? Come on! Live for who you are (1 Peter 2:9). If it is best to shun away from those negative behaviours you have, just do. If it is that you surrender to God wholly, my friend do not hesitate.  Just do it to glorify God and exude your worth.

For you have been endowed with great worth and power, but until you consciously and steadily probe to know the importance of that which you have, you might forever live the lie in your entire life.

Let this be far said about you. Live your life worthy of emulation and testimony. Don't live ignorantly, live like the child of God you are (no dilution). For many are watching (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Stay Blessed!

Be Calm In All Situations!

 Be Calm In All Situations!

Do you know that it is very difficult to stay calm when certain things do not go well around you? Often times you feel like turning back the hands of time or pushing things to go your way. But hey dear friend, you can not and will not be able to do it your own way, so be calm.

Take your cool and calm yourself down in every situation you find yourself.  For though some may be disturbing,  every situation has a purpose and a reason for its occurrence. Oh yes, there is an opportunity within, just scan and fish it out.

Don't be in a haste to prejudice or judge the situation, just be at peace and give it time. You will appreciate its occurrence later, if only you remain calm at it.

Life will never present you with the pleasant things all the time. It brings both the bitter, sour, and  sweet in their spectrum, just to build you up and make you strong.

Learning is a process, and as part of the process, you may learn the hard way or have it the easy way. Know that, all makes the process exciting and revealing.

Hence, do not be overly worried and anxious about certain things that happen in your life. Just stay calm and trust God to help you manoeuvre through them victoriously.

God is always there for you, to help you live life to the fullest. All that is required of you is to trust him and rest on his wings. So he will lead you on to greener pastures all the time. Just trust the Lord, and you will be calmed all the time.

Stay Blessed!

You are a Signpost!

 You are a Signpost!

Generally, signposts give information such as direction to the people reading them. And depending on what the readers read, they draw conclusions cognitively and even take physical steps on that.

Just as the signpost, you are a source of direction to your environment. You direct people consciously or unconsciously with your nature, attitude and character.

Have you wondered how people ignore their rights, obligations and privileges because of other's behaviour? This shows the extent to which you direct other people's motives. Such a great influence!

You are a signpost, and depending on the content of your advert, you can mislead or correctly direct others to life or death (to sin).

Bear this in mind, it is written that, woe to the person who causes the neighbour to sin (Luke 17:1; Matthew 18:7).

Do not think in any way that it is your life that you are living. My dear, you must endeavour to always think first about who reads you. For it is what they read about you that sells your image. And without a good image (Ecclesiastes 7:1), you are just like the salt that has loss its saltiness (without any regard).

Knowing this, be mindful of how you brand yourself and the behaviours you advertise in the environment. For you are required to be an example and nothing less ( 1 Timothy 4:12).

Do not allow the flesh to influence your true nature, let the word of God groom you to be the best signpost you should be. Be wise!

Stay Blessed!

They Are Many But You Are Stronger!

They Are Many But You Are Stronger!

Many are the devices of the enemy, but the Lord delivers us from them all. Oh yes, though the trials and temptations arises daily, the Lord grants us grace to sail through them. Why? Because, though they are many, we are stronger. For he that is in us is greater than them.

Do you know that despite the great cloud of witnesses surrounding  your life, you have the power to nullify their negative effects and impacts in your life? Yes you do.

You have the power to turn around whatever the wicked throws at you, if only you will activate your faith and walk with the Lord. For he is our ever-present help in times of need. He will never leave you to suffer. No, never!

You are capable and stronger to withstand and deal with every situation that may arise in your life's journey. Don't underestimate your ability, just position yourself well and the conscious of your environment.

As a matter of fact, it is God who gives you the strength, so endeavour to walk with him daily. And your strength will be renewed as and when needed.

Bear in mind that, with Christ in your boat you will always smile at the storm, because you are made stronger than the storm and those through whom they come.

Stop Marking Time and Move!

 Stop Marking Time and Move!

How long do you wish to be in that situation? Are you not tired of the dormancy of your life? Come on, stop marking time and move.

Why are you laying back on your vision? Don't you have faith in your prospects? My friend don't be like the sluggard, get up and move!

Move into your achievements, move and chase your breakthrough.  For no one succeeds without taking steps. A step in time can just change your story. Why are you refusing to move now?

It doesn't matter how scanty your resources are. With the life and strength you have, empowered by the grace of God, you can do something. Oh yes, your success does not depend on anyone but yourself. So get up and move.

You can never succeed without a good mentality or perception of yourself and the world around you. Hence, be positive minded and appreciative of what life brings your way at every step in life.

For all that happens to you, is but stepping stones for your breakthrough. Just stay focused and step on them one after the other. It is the best thing to do.

Meanwhile, you can not move successfully into your breakthrough without Jesus Christ. For he is the way, the truth and life (John 14:6). So, be determined to move from where you are. And in your moving, make sure you move with Christ (the author and finisher of your faith).

Friend, stop the marking time and move now.

Stay Blessed!

Be Relevant In Your Days!

 Be Relevant In Your Days!

Do you know that your days are numbered on earth? Do you also know that the agenda for your existence is time bound? Oh yes it is ( Ecclesiastes 3:1-11).

What have you done so far since you came to being? Have you gained the relevance required of you? If not, what are you waiting for? Assess your life and see how achievable you have been as a Child of God.

It is an error to be a child of God and not be relevant in life. At least, the environment around you must taste your relevance. For greater is he who is in you. Who has given you all power and authority to create impacts. Why waste the opportunity?

Like the children of Issachar (who knew the seasons and times), you also need to know the seasons and times in your days, so that you would be guided to usher your relevance with all diligence.

Be careful not to misrepresent the grace and will of God in your life. Be critical and certain on all that you do, knowing well that you will reap what you sow.

For your relevance is not measured in how regular or frequent you appear in nature and in action,  but in the impact you make on the society.

Hence, it would be best to remain teachable and friendly in all material respects, so that you will be able to know where your effort and contribution is actually needed. So that you can invest accordingly to boost your relevance as required. Don't be naive, let your presence be felt.

Stay Blessed!

Who Do You See In The Mirror!

Who Do You See In The Mirror!

A mirror is one device that almost everyone uses, especially in the home. Though we use it from different angles and destinations, there is just one common aim (to watch or see).

However, it is paramount to critically pay attention to what you see whenever you use the mirror. Do you see a shadow of yourself or the real you? Be introspective on this!

It is likely to humanly see yourself in a mirror, but to be more objective of who you truly see in the mirror, you need to use the greatest mirror of all, which is the Word of God.

For it is the Word of God that reveals who we truly are. It enables you to see how glowing, tattered, simple and possibly complex you are. It makes you envisage how your life will probably be in the moments ahead.

Have you really wondered why it is so? Oh come on, have you forgotten that the Word is God represented in Christ Jesus (John 1:1-4)? If so, why won't it be possible for you to see exactly who you are before him?

Do not be deceived, there is no better mirror on earth to use than to incline to use the Word of God. For it is the power of God unto your salvation (Romans 1:16), as it reveals the true you.

Be intentional to imbibe the Word of God daily my dear. That you may know how ready and fit you are for your daily accomplishments.

Let nothing disrupt you, knowing that your salvation unto righteousness is personal  (Philippians 2:12). Let the Word dwell in you richly, and you will see clearly how beautiful you will be always.

Stay Blessed!

Carry Yourself With Dignity!

 Carry Yourself With Dignity!

Everyone has some level of dignity, but your dignity becomes more relevant when it is recognized by others via their own perception.

It is obvious and true that one becomes so confident when he or she becomes aware of the fact that others recognizes his or her level of dignity in society. Hope you agree to that!

Though you may be accorded with humanely ascribed dignity, the greatest of all dignities is to have the tag of Christ Jesus in your life. Oh yea, for it is only with Christ that you have the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

It is easy and possible for people to gain fame and be dignified in the eyes of many owing to certain things they have attained in life. But I tell you the truth, without the imprint of Christ in their lives, all become meaningless (Psalm 1:4-6).

Therefore my dear, do not live your life anyhow. Be conscious and diligent to carry yourself up in all dignity, having Christ (the word of God) in you. For it is the word that lightens your path and enables you to overcome every darkness in your life.

Do not strive much, just avail yourself to portray Christ in your everyday living, and you will automatically be dignified.

What Is The Content Of Your Resume!

What Is The Content Of Your Resume!

Every appointment in life requires a resume. Meanwhile,  though all the potential applicants present their resumes, it is the one that suitably appeals the judgement of the panelists that is chosen.

Thus, how well have you prepared your resume? What are the qualities you exude to the whole world? How do people see you as you draw close, even from afar? It is good you think about these carefully.

Your true nature is not only about how you see yourself, but how the world perceives you via the resume you present on the table. There is no need to argue this out, it is just what you sell that they buy in.

Friend, it is very important to be mindful of how you behave and live your life. For you might never know who is reading the handwriting of your life.

It is better to take your time to prepare a good resume for yourself, than to cut corners and have a shoddy testimonial. Why? Because many are the people contesting for the same appointment and opportunity you are seeking. And per the content of your resumes, the best would be chosen.

Hence be sober, diligent, humble but vigilant to do what is always right and acceptable in the sight of God and men. For it is in so doing that you will be favoured and honoured.

Stay Blessed!

How Well Do You Seek!

 How Well Do You Seek!

Seeking, to the ordinary man (woman) has been the order of the day, if truth be told. Everyone is on his (her) heels running helter-skelter seeking one thing or the order. Meanwhile, the question to ask is what are you seeking and how well do you seek for that?

Many of us are chasing ghosts, following trends of others, with the mind of looking for opportunities to breakthrough.  Do you think that is the right way to go? Come on, do not seek amiss (James 4:3).

The only way to have your desires satisfied, is to seek the Lord first before any other thing in life (Matthew 6:33, Psalm 37:4). For it is in him that you can have almost everything that you desire.

Thus, if it is really opportunities that you seek, then the best way is to seek the Lord earnestly. Not to rely on your own effort nor the favour of men. For there is no gratification in either of them.

It is only Christ Jesus who has the keys to every door in your life (Isaiah 22:22, Matthew 16:19). So whichever door you want opened in life, with the relationship you have with the Lord, just ask and it will be given you.

This is how well you can seek for all that you need or desire. Try it!

Stay Blessed!

Encourage Yourself!

 Encourage Yourself!

There is no one to keep you comfortable and secured than yourself. No amount of motivation is better for you to succeed than your innermost self- motivation.

Many may give you counsel and guidance as to how to make your life comfortable, but until you encourage yourself personally, none of those advises may ever work for you.

The life we live now, is about you gathering the courage to break boundaries and taking territories. Thus, finding your position in life in the face of diverse adversities.

Meanwhile my friend, the only true and sure way of being comfortable in life, is to encourage yourself in the Lord. For he is the solution to all anxieties, and has the final say in the issues of life.

Hence, you can not positively encourage yourself without the influence of Christ Jesus through the Holy Spirit (John 14:26). You need his direction.

Therefore my Dear, strive to build a cordial and lasting relationship with Christ Jesus, so that you can freely experience the impact of the Holy Spirit in your daily life as you encourage yourself to greatness.

Remember, God loves you and Christ Jesus is ever ready to walk with you. Just avail yourself and your life will never be the same!

Open Up Your Heart!

 Open Up Your Heart!

Even though the mind is mostly used to do most of the conceptual calculations, it is the heart that makes the decision. Thus, if your heart is not intuned with any thought, you can never execute it successfully.

It is therefore prudent to have an open heart, pure and clearer enough to scan and select the best of your cognitive ideas and agree with, to make meaningful decisions in life.

Remember, it is out of the heart that flows the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). Therefore, it must be guarded with all diligence.

Be mindful what you allow to control your heart. For whatever you feed your heart with, may either improve or destroy your life (Titus 1:15).

Do not allow your heart to be troubled over negative vibes of the now (Psalm 37:1-8), focus on your inner man and do the Lord's bidding (as he ministers to your heart).

For God is Spirit, and it is with the heart that we connect to him in spirit (John 4:23-24). Thus, it is needful that you have an open heart to meet the Lord at his word.

Forget about everything around you, and focus on your heart. Work on it tirelessly, for it is the pivot to your progress.

You may have all the beautiful and powerful things on earth, but without a pure and opened heart, you may never be sustained for long. Think through this and be wise!

Be Teachable!

 Be Teachable!

It is sad how our world is transforming negatively with reference to the quality fundamental training  inherited from the past. It can be said emphatically that the standard of morality and great positive impact on society is dwindled.

And what can be the cause? I believe one of the contributing factors is our inability to exude the teachable spirit, that would enable us inculcate certain fundamental principles to the younger generation.

Meanwhile, the fault can not be placed on only the older generation, but the younger generation as well, for their inability to humble themselves to learn.

In view of this, we all have fallen short and failed our generations respectively. However, all hope is not lost. There is still room for improvement. As far as we are alive, we have the opportunity to impact the world.

There is a great privilege before you to better your life. And this can be easily done by creating impact in the lives of the people around you. Thus, you have the opportunity once again to be teachable.

Be willing and ever ready to learn from others while you also impact them by teaching them what you know. Remember, wisdom and knowledge is not built in one person. And sharing they say is caring.

Do not be selfish, show empathy. Humble yourself enough to learn, without looking at who is teaching you (whether big or small). For God in his own wisdom, chooses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise... (1 Corinthians 1:27).

Know that, success is not measured by how much knowledge or wealth you have acquired, but by the worth of impact you have made. Hence be wise, humble yourself and be teachable. For it is in doing so that you will be recognized, and your works be noticed as relevant.

Stay Blessed!

Close Those Chapters!

 Close Those Chapters!

Like a book, our lives are made up of many chapters. Some fascinating, others intriguing, while certain chapters happen to be of less importance. Meanwhile they all blend to make life worthy of living.

As a matter of fact, it is your ability to manage the varied aspects of your life (as they unfold in chapters), that makes it worthy of living. Thus, there comes a time when you need to close certain indictful chapters in your life to make it meaningful.

You can not comfortably be in an unacceptable behaviour when all odds are against it. You need to close that chapter.  Oh yes, you have to. For it tarnishes the image of God you carry.

Friend, you can not deceive God in anyway, whatever you sow, you will definitely reap (Galatians 6:7). So why don't you wise up and just close those negative and darkened chapters in your life, and move on to the next pleasing and appreciative chapters.

Know that, life is precious and more fulfilling when it pleases God (your father in heaven). Don't miss the mark. You are on earth to make a meaning, and not to just be numbered.

Hence, reason up and close every negativity and forge on to create impacts on your path to destiny.

Stay Blessed!

It Matter How Far It Has Been!

It Matter How Far It Has Been!

When we talk about the faithfulness of God, most of us underrate it. And some of us even give it a different definition from the norm. Irrespective of all these, the stance of God never change. He still remains faithful.

God has promised you a life of peace and hope (Jeremiah 29:11), and you are there wallowing in self-pity and doubt. Come on my dear, rise up to your faith and match on with Christ Jesus.

For it doesn't matter how far your current unpleasant situation has been, with Christ Jesus, there is hope (Colossians 1:27).

The days and years may pass, but the appointed time for the manifestation of your breakthrough shall never pass you by (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). You know why? The vision is for an appointed time (Habakkuk 2:2-3).

Therefore, do not allow the pressure and lust of this world to overshadow your joy and peace. Come on, box them off with the little faith you have in you (Matthew 17:20). For they are all pseudo gains.

Be alert and determined! For it doesn't matter how far it has been, all your aspirations will be fulfilled, if only you will be consistent with your faith and trust in God (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Stay Blessed!

Shalom!!!
