Know Who Is With You!

Everybody needs somebody, not just seeing that particular person's presence, but having company with him or her. However, it is always best to know who is with you.

Knowing somebody is not a matter of knowing the physical nature of the person. It has more to do with knowing the inner man of that person.

Who is with you? Who do you call your friend? On whose shoulders do you cry when in trouble? Who do you share you joy, happiness and life with? Be careful who is with you.

Not everyone who is with you is on your side. If the Lord Jesus could be sold out and disowned by the people he called his friends (John 15:14-15), how much more you? It is better for you to know who is with you, than to live in deceit in the name of keeping company.

Be on your guard, for bad company corrupts good morals (1 Corinthians 15:33).

There is no other best friend to have, than Jesus Christ. He is so faithful and full of love and care. He always sacrifices for his friends (Matthew 11:28-30; John 10:11) and even to them that are not for him, he approaches and invites them to share in his love (Revelation 3:20; John 3:16).

It is He (Jesus) who calls you today to come just as you are, without any plea (Isaiah 55:1-3). Come to him, and he will restore you. He will make everything new in your life and make you fruitful (2 Corinthians 5:17; John 15:1-5).

God loves you, and has promised to be with you always (Hebrews 13:5). Are you ready to be with him too? Sela!
