Know Your Strength!
Everybody on earth has strength and weakness, do you know yours? Have you ever wondered to know what actually you are good at or how best you can perform in an area of your life? My dear if you haven't, then you should take a time off your busy schedules and know your strength, because you are missing out.
Have you heard, or read that "the joy of the Lord is my strength" (Nehemiah 8:10)? Oh yes it is, and you need to personalize these words daily as a child of God.
My dear, knowing your strength gives you a hedge over many dangers that may arise in your life. For example, if you know you don't have the capacity for alcohol, would you go and drink it? Sela!
In the same way, knowing that the joy of the Lord is your strength should motivate you to do things that will make the Lord joyful always. For it is in that, that your strength will prevail.
Of course, many have diverse sources of strength, but genuine source of strength is from the Lord (Psalm 20:7-8). Therefore, I entreat you to seek after the Lord with all your heart (Psalm 91:1) and obey what he instructs through his word. For the Lord's joy is fulfilled when we obey him (Proverbs 16:20).
Know your strength today my dear, for there are more furious battles ahead to endure. The past is gone, and the future you do not know, but you have now. Hence, make good and wise use of your now, to know and mount up your strength for the tomorrow.
If you think you are strong now (that is you know God), then I urge you to stay firmly glued to it (1 Corinthians 10:12). But if you do not have any relationship with God, then I assure you that his arms are widely opened to embrace you (Revelation 3:20; Matthew 11:28-30). Just come boldly to him and he will draw you closer to himself (John 1:12) to give you the strength you require.
Do not waste the few moments left for you on earth here, just know your strength and prepare to meet your tomorrow (which might be in a second). For no one knows tomorrow. Sela!
Stay Blessed!
