The True Identity!

Every creature has an identity. However, many are recognized by their names. Meanwhile, it is very crucial to be aware of the identity your name portrays to others.

What is your name? And what really does that name stands for? It doesn't really matter how nice or sweet it sounds in the ears when mentioned. What matters most, is the inner identity.

It is your true identity that gives you authority over others in specified situations. Therefore, take the pain to know who you are and what you carry inside of you. For it is a great weapon to defeat your fears.

God is spirit, and at the same time the light to the world. Hence, if you claim to be a child of God then your true identity should be found in him. For he has called us out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).

Hence, you are also the light wherever you find yourself (Matthew 5:14-16). Therefore, never hide your true identity, let it be known to all, that they may see and give God the glory (Matthew 5:16).

It is always good to be yourself, but you need to be conscious of yourself, to maintain a good image. For a good name is better than fine perfume (Proverbs 22:1).

Your name and the identity you carry may differ, but a good name (not the literal name, but one that is well cultured) has the potency to influence the identity you carry.

However, our true identity is in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). For in him, our lives are made perfect (Hebrews 10:14).

Therefore, seek the Lord Jesus Christ now and serve him diligently, so that your life will be refined for your true identity to be revealed.
