Don't Be Overly Careful!

It is good to be cautious in life, but it is dangerous to be overly careful. As much as you can't be too careful in life, you do not have to be too careful too. You just have to be wise in all you do.

Many times it is wise to take on some measure of risk in order to achieve greater outcomes, but that doesn't mean you have to embrace unnecessary risks just because you want to achieve greatness.

You only need to be wise and vigilant, having a questioning mind to always probe into every idea or situation before progressing into decision making.

However, doing a due diligence check does not mean you should be too careful. You really need to act appropriately to every situation as required. What has to be done or addressed must be done well, in love, humility and with a pure heart.

Do not cover up evil (1 Peter 2:15-17), for the fear of what men will say or do. Rather, be good to all and let the love of God be evident in you, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Be careful in all things my dear, but don't be too careful. For even the kingdom of God from the days of John the Baptist till now suffers violence, and the violent takes it by force (Matthew 11:12). Hence it is not good to be too cautious, else you miss an opportunity worth fighting for as you journey in life. Be Wise and careful, but don't be too careful!
