The Lord is my sherperd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside the still waters, He restores my soul.
He leads me in the path of righteousness. For His name's sake, yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil.
For thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me
Thou prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies
Thou annoited my head with oil, my cup runs over
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever.
This is the prayer of a true believer, to let the Lord be his sherperd. The contoller of his humane affairs, as well as the affairs of the spirit. It is when you give room for Christ to live in you and direct your life that your deeds will proclaim His goodness unto nations. Know that Christ can only come into your life through your devotion to the WORD. Note also that, in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God.Thus, Christ is the word. Allow Him into your life this moment and He shall surely be your sherperd. He will lead and guide you into the evergreen lands. Your darkness will be turned to light, because in Him is no darkness. He will as well lead you into places you've never dreamt of going and will make your path clear, even as he makes your face shine with favour.

TIME! HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH IT?
Time! Time!! TIme!!!
What do you know about time? The student talks about time, the secretary, same, the trader recognizes time, the doctor, even the armed robber evaluates time. Do we actually consider this resource most efficient?
Time is said to be an emergent concept. What we perceive to be time is mostly an illusion. Our memory creates the illusion of the past. Conscious perception of event gives the feeling of present. Future is a mental construct patterned on memory experience of the past. It is obvious to say that, the concept of time emerges as our minds try to make sense of the world around us which is filled with continuous change.
How then can this concept of time be applicable effectively to our human endeavors? It takes a management of it.
Time management may be described as a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals. This management is required of any individual who really sujects to succeed in life. The management of time can be undertaken on a personal or group grounds. However, the process is not a mouth wash issue but entails a variety of activities including planning, allocating, setting goals, delegation, analysis of time spent, monitoring, organising, scheduling and prioritizing.
A major obstacle to personal time management is the psychological aspect of our time management. Why? Because, it stands as the major reason why we procrastinate our time. Meanwhile, we can avoid this obstacle with the practice of effective time management by employing the necessary skills and techniques. To effectively manage your time, strive to:
1. Have very clear goals
2. Set deadlines and meet them. This will help you avoid unnecessary stress and tension.
3. Get your priorities right. Know which need/want is of most importance to you, given your allocated time frame of action and deal with that first, then the next.
4. Plan and follow a programme. Make sure you design a master plan for any action you deem to undertake. This serves as a programme for that particular task which needs to be followed as designed. However, the plan should be one which will result success and not a mere jung.
5. Always be punctual.
6. Use efficient ways. That is, always try to use the right channel for any move you make, or transaction you engage in.
7. Be alert, be mindful. Be alert to take the necessary step when the traffic light clicks "go" and don't slag, because it will in no time click "stop".
8. Practise strong Discipline. No man can manage a valuable resource without Discipline. It pays to discipline yourself to the 'dos' and 'don'ts' of time to give it a better management that will provide you an exquisite success.
9. Do not procrastinate. Note, "Procrastination is a thief of Time".
10. Do not waste time. It is best to monitor the time you waste on daydreaming and fantasizing; gossiping and indulging in empty talk; oversleeping and dreaming; overwatching TV, video, playing computer games, chit-chatting on the internet; and idling while waiting, quequeing up, traveling and so on.
11. Concentrate on whatever you do.
12. Organise your work.
13. Delegate and share the work.
14. Take good care of your Health.
15. Cultivate good attitudes and habits towards everything you do.
It is sincerely true that, most of these skills are not light to employ, but it will take determination and self control as well as divine intervention through prayer to practise them. But we should know that, "Time is man's most precious asset. All men neglect it; all regret the loss of it; nothing can be done without it"as according to Volatire.
Benjamin Disraeli, also commented that, "He who gains time, gains everything". Likewise Peter Drucker said, "Time is the scarcest resource and unless it is managed, noting else can be managed".
And I conclude in agreement with LaBruyere that, those who make the worst use of their time most, complain of its shortness.
We ought to take note of what we use our time for, and how we use our time. Since a second lost can never be recovered as time is concerned.

THE GREAT WEAPON
Thy word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against thee. Its always relevant as a child of God to let the word be the sole food to your soul.It is the word(the word of the Lord) that can give you the right direction to your destiny and shappen your life. God's word is the light that brightens our lives and nourishes our inner man( the real man). The same word is foolishness unto them that know not the creator but wisdom to the believer. How do you value this word? Do you ignore it whenever it gets to you or you embrace it with faith?
Note that, to them that believed on His name, He gave them the right to become the sons of God. Why don't you entrust your believe in the name 'JESUS' so that you can acquire the uncomparable favour to be a true decendant of God. By this you will recognise the power and benefit of the WORD to your life. Don't wait for the next second, left alone tomorrow, run for your inheritance now!!!

WHO IS YOUR MENTOR?
Many of us humans admire other people who have achieved much in life to the extent of calling them our mentors. But the question to be asked is, who really is a mentor? And is it only successful men that deserve to be mentors?
A dictionary definition for mentor states that,"a mentor is an experienced person who helps someone who has less experience, especially in their job". Reflecting on the above definition, it is obvious that any person at all is qualified to be called a mentor when experience can be seen as a cloth around him/her and not the successful alone.
There are a number of well-known mentors across the globe, some of which include; Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther, and many other qualified personalities. However, these people where all chosen as mentors based on the varied but unique characteristics they portray, and the experiences they have acquired in order to be successful, not only to themselves but to society, nation as well as cosmos. In spite of all the above mentioned individuals, Christ Jesus is the ultimate mentor, for He was before these humans were.
It is worth noting that, we have to be vigilant and obsessive when choosing people as our mentors. The reason being that, these mentors tend to inflict some sort of influence over our lives, particularly on the behaviour forum. Folk, being a mentoree of someone does not subdue you to everything practiceable by the person. I solely think that, each person has to immitate only the positive attitudes of his/her mentor and not the negative ones. Else he/she will suffer a double portion of the misery suffered by the mentor.
I suggest in view of how the world is moving that, each and everyone willing to be prominent, successful and live long on this earth should have Christ as the number one mentor, if not as the only mentor in his/her life. Why? Because, He is the only one who has great experiences to teach us in order for us to be triumphant in life. He was able to withstand all obstacles and despise the shame, counting it joy to die for our sins on the cross, that we might be saved. What an extraordinary mentor He is! I will always cling to Him as my mentor and strive to walk in His way as the grace abound on me.
My dear friends, who do you choose to be your mentor? Who are you looking up to this moment to move on with life? Never make a mistake and regret. Be wise and choose the right people at the right time as your mentors.

WHERE IS OUR STAND, FUTURE LEADERS?
While the old are crying with regards to their maintenance and prolonging of their working years; the young, vibrant and energetic are yelling for opportunity to pipe into the field of employment. What should be done?
It would do the entire nation a great deal to open the door for the right things to be done at the right time.Gone are the days where people would say "let the experienced do the work to improve productivity". Experience in the light of productivity is good but with all sincerity, do you think the rapid innovations accompanied by technology can sustain the efforts of only the old in transforming the nation towards total development? I don't think so. It is only when the old give room for the youth who have acquired basic knowledge on the various aspects of business into the industries, in order for them to acquire new skills and training as they make use of the knowledge they've acquired, that the dream of total development can be achieved. Because this is not happening, the nation's future leaders with all enthusiasm and zeal to work to transform their motherland are found stranded and wandering about aim-shortened. I say the educated youth are aim-shortened due to the fact that, they are endowed with the knowledge and ability to make the nation's dream as well as their personal dreams come true but are hindered with the circumstances surrounding their implimentation.
Despite the nut between the old and the young when it comes to job opportunities, the presence of imported goods into the country is also impeding the smooth navigation of our future leaders into the manufacturing industries. For example, the Ghanaian market today is filled with Chinese products branded with fine packaging but inferior. The presence of these products as a matter of fact is causing great financial loss to the entire country due to the low prices they come with but with similar materials. With reference to the above issue, most of the Ghanaian industries are closing down at the expense of the large number of university and polythecnic graduates who come out of school with the expectation of gaining employment. What a blow to these ambitious youth!
Where really is the stand of our future leaders? What then is the value of all the education? Are we the youth to toil and suffer to study for nothing? There should be answers to the above and many other questions relating to the development of our beloved country, Ghana.
As a concerned citizen but a naive youth, I recommend that our parents who are in the industries but are almost in their due season to go on pension should try hard and give way for the energetic youth to make best use of their knowledge and build up more skills to improve the nation.
Also with the issue of imported goods impeding national industries, as the biting of the gong has being sounding always, import duties should be increased on imported goods. This I think would limit the flow of inferior foreign goods into our country and save our local industries from economic death. As the local industries would get the privilege of producing more quality goods
to increase demand by local and foreign consumers.
However, the youth should make good use of their knowledge as they build up spectacular entrepreneural skills and establish small scale industries. This would as well contribute massively to national development.

SALVATION
Salvation! Salvation!! Salvation!!!
What does it mean to be saved, and from what are you to be saved?
Salvation signifies a person's freedom from a tormenting situation, person, or thing.
It could also mean, to be liberated from bondage; to be pulled out from the pit...
However, the definition of salvation can be relative. Why do I say so? Because, everyone can produce his/her own definition owing to the tormenting factor and how he/she got liberated.
There is one great thorn in the flesh of every individual; especially the children of God, who always try to make their path crook.
That is the devil. He is like a lion, roaring and roaming about looking up to someone to devour. Though not God, structure his ways and actions to be like God's.
He tries to manipulate them that are weak and fall prey to his works, even to the attack of the strong and firm in Christ. What a dreadful creature? He can be said to be very intelligent, wise, knowledgeable, and what have you.
He uses all he has to construct his dubious acts against man. Due to this, he is characterized as the greatest enemy of man.
How can we then terminate the manipulations of this adversery? In the eyes of God it is possible, but in the sight of man,it is not. This is why God admonishes us to flee from the devices of the wicked in order to safeguard our lives.
However, it takes the man, filled with the Spirit of God and of the fear of the Lord to resist the deals of the devil. No mortal being, in his own will can fight this enemy; neither can he run away from his manipulations. Because, he has no armor or cove
r over his life.
A gate of salvation has been opened to all men, with invitation calling on all to enter. Why are you tarrying? Never delay, for it would be too late to say tomorrow. Do you want to be tormented by this wicked man? Or you want to be under his manipulations?
No brethren, don't you make a serious mistake in your lives. Allow the Spirit of God to have its way in your life even as Christ has brought salvation to all men, particularly you through his death.
Let His shout "it is finish" on the cross of Calvary have effect on your life. Enjoy Christ's salvation and experience everlasting peace!!!AMEN.

WHAT IS YOUR INTERPRETATION?
"The child that knows how to wash the hands eats with elders".
This proverb sounds very loud in my ear. It scratches the nerves of my ear and knocks my eardrum.
Anytime I hear someone make the comment, my mind thinks twice, even thrice when quick application is not activated.
To me, this proverb has a lot to it. It can have its literal meaning as it reads, it is only when you can wash your hands properly as a child that elders would allow you to eat with them from the same dish.
Meanwhile, it can also mean that an individual can only do what pertains to adults only when he/she has what it takes to be an adult. Another way of saying; "cut your coat according to your size". How can you have a piece of cloth and after sewing you get an oversized or undersized dress or shirt.Obviously, it would be said that the dress or shirt is not your, though it is your personal clothing.
This proverb as well portrays the ability of responsibility in the light of respect. You have to render your responsibility to a task in this life to be called a success. In the same vain, you must show respect to others for them to express their respect to you. You don't expect a waiter to come to your table at a restaurant with any type of food without your request, so it is with respect.Respectful beings are always honoured for the character they portray; but the disrespectful are normally unattracted to people, they lack the trait of honour from others.
My quest for interpretation of the above proverb landed me to a friend who gave her interpretation as "an individuals ability to express wisdom opens the door for elders/older people to approach him/her when solutions are needed for a problem".
There can be thousands of explainations to the pending wise saying above, with its compass point pointing your direction of understanding. It is prudent that you enquire from others their interpretation to this saying, and compare to your personal understanding. If possible, weigh and choose which is deeply interpreted, but the best thing to do is to keep yours as you add the ideas of others to increase and advance your knowledge.
What is your understanding of this wise saying, and how well have you interpreted it to others even to yourself?!!!

WHAT BEATS MY MIND
How do I fit in the environment I find myself?
How do I cope with the circumstances around me?
How do I solve the indelible problem I'm facing?
How can I mingle with others, especially those at the outskirt of my attitude?
How will I win the hearts of fellow humans?
What will I do to sustain my life?
Why am I looking like this and not like that?
These, and many other 'H' and 'W' questions we ask daily, searching for sources of answers.
Most of us normally outwork our minds, thinking about avenues which are highly sited to the expense of immediate ones for answers to solve the problems of our thoughts.
You know what?!!!
The issues of our thoughts are constructed by ourselves and definately, the solutions must come from us: this entails how we psyche ourselves and minds, and managing our sources of assistance.
What do you think?
Do you think you can cause a problem and wait for another person to solve it for you? I'm very sorry!
The world is full of issues, and each person selects what issue will suit his/her progress as well as growth.
However, you cannot solve a problem without gaining any knowledge about the problem and the wisdom to manoeuvre your way out to solving it. In spite of all odds, the only genuine point to acquire knowledge and wisdom is in Christ Jesus.
Note that, the fear of the Lord is the begining of wisdom.Knowing Christ, is like building a foundation not for a house, but for your life's success and growth.
Experience Christ and you will know no problem, because in Christ, though you may face problems, the Spirit man in you takes up the responsibility of solving those problems and generates room for peace, joy and happiness within you in the sight of those problems. This, as time runs by manifest itself in the physical to the knowledge of other men.
Never attempt to let situations of this world have great manipulation of your mind. Especially those of trivial concern to you.
Be focus on your life and the things that will help you grow both in spirit and in reality. But your ultimate focus must be on spiritual things; for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

HUMILITY
To be humble is like to lie down for another to tremple upon you.It does not matter your status in life, humility can be practised by you. Remember how our saviour, with His highest status as the son of God the creator of the universe, lowered himself even to the cross to win salvation for mankind. Despite the spittings, mockery, persecutions and all the immeritable strokes inflicted on Him, He never spelt out a word. This was undertaking by Christ because He knew what was before Him, and the task He has to accomplish.
It is difficult though to express humility, but it pays everlasting progress. It is very painful to withstand insults, mockery, teases, and other forms of nasty treatments from people all in the name of humility.
Nevertheless, there is only one thing that facilitates the practice of humility.
What is this facilitator? It is priceless but expensive, it is worthy, it is holy, it is ...
It is the FEAR OF THE LORD. The fear of the Lord is the only original key to open the door of humility. It takes having Christ to gain humility.
How then can you acquire the fear of the Lord? Aquisition to this is by studying the scriptures. Read the bible always, at least once a day and see the amount of wisdom you will gain, aside the knowledge you will get from reading the scriptures.
Be a follower of humility and count yourself blessed. For the holy book says, Christ will lift up the humble and lower the proud. Do you want to be elevated or suppressed? Make your choice now, for there is no room for tomorrow.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?
Can a permanently blind man see clearly even at day time? Economically, can a nation with insufficient and incompetent administration and facilities among apartetic citizens experience total development? It is very patetic to see an independent nation like Ghana suffer destruction and yet yell "we are independent and sovereign".
Should this be the case?!!!
Ghana is over fifty years, but the conditions around its development has shown no improvement. Why do I say this? Though efforts are inputed to make the development state of the nation real, such efforts, excuse me to say seem incapacitated.Clearer illustrations include the bad roads(full of potholes) across the routes, choked gutters, indiscriminate clustering of houses creating slums, and a lot more all over the nation.
Just a month ago,if my mind will serve me right,I heard from a radio station if not mistaken, "City fm" that the government is creating avenues to secure citizens from disastrous floods which might occur owing to the aforecoming rainy season. However, this initiative was to me, a half-way focused motive. The reason being that, the innovation benefited just a section of the population.
I heard about eleven people lot their lives to a flood that occured in an area within Accra. Who knows the number of bodies that would be buried after this natural occurance(rainy season).
Another flooding issue betweem Ashiaman and Kpone barrier managed to carry about 1000 and above birds of a poultry farmer. How pitiful it seems.
My journey to Tema from Nungua on monday 21st june,2010 gave me a fearful hint.A strip of land as road between the sea and a lagoon. The present rain has caused the lagoon to increase profusely to the extent of increasing the elevation of the sea. Imagine a strip of land embedded between two mundane creatures. What do you think is likely to happen? A much headache is the construction of railway line on going. It look very scary when the thought of the sea and lagoon come to mind.
To help secure lives and property in our country, it is best for us to have a change of mind and attitude. This recommendation is to all; the president and its carbinet, the legislature, the judiciary and the citizens as a whole. Proactive actions must be taken by both the government and its administration to ascertain better outputs.
On the other hand, with reference to the situation at Sakumono, I think a bridge like the Adome bridge should be constructed instead of the already destroyed road and the railway line should be relocated to safer place. What do you think?

INTEGRITY:How do you understand it?
Integrity, a word which seem common to all men, but requires a lot. Many people brand themselves as having integrity, but only God knows whether they are aware of the components of integrity. In other words, though almost everyone is conversant with the alarming word integrity, not all adhere to the things that make true integrity.
A web definition explained integrity as a phenomenon which has to do with perceived consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations and outcome. Most people use it as a holistic concept such as judging the integrity of systems in terms of the system's ability to achieve their own goals.
Among the western ethics, integrity is regarded as the quality of having an intuitive sense of Honesty and Truthfulness in relation to the motivations surrounding a person's actions.
Integrity, being the opposite of hypocricy regards internal consistency as a virtue, and suggests that parties holding apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or
their belifs.Confidently checking ourselves, how many of us can boldly rate our attitudes toward integrity?
Another important aspect of integrity that I think must be considered by all is the root of the word. This pending word is derived from a Latin adjective "integer" which means whole/complete. It is the inner sense of 'wholeness' deriving from honesty and consistency of character as qualities. Two major factors contribute to integrity: a value system's abstraction depth and range of applicable interaction due to their congruence or lack of congruence with empirical observation.
Integrity does not consist of loyalty to one's subjective whims, but of loyalty to rational principles. One's integrity can be tested both subjectively and objectively, or via scientific methodology or standardized mathematical procedures.
People use the word integrity in reference to a single "absolute" morality rather than in reference to the assumptions of the value system in question.
Stephen L. Carter, a proponent of this phenomenon suggested three steps to integrity: firstly, you discern what is right and what is wrong; then you work hard and act on what you have discerned, even at personal cost; and finally, you try and say openly that you are acting on your understanding of right from wrong.
Note also that, integrity can be defined holding to the region of affairs an individual finds him/herself in.
Frankly speaking, no one is without integrity, but the level of exploitation makes people to have diverse levels of integrity(either high or low)
I think how noble and successful one renders his/her responsibility can have effect on his integrity in a way. What is your mind on this? How perfectly do you understand this wonderful and well-pronounced word 'integrity'? Explain to me!!!

THE "FACILITATOR" OF MAN
Casting my mind on my life and how far I have come factoring the living, it potrays a shadow of the endless cycle of God's creation and the fulfilment of His words to man, "multiply and fill the earth".
God's purpose for having me come to this planet was facilitated by the man who availed himself to be used as an instrument for my production.
It was DADDY who yielded to this divine task.
After the combination of chemicals , which formed a compound in the chemistry laboratory,
He never rejected the result(which is me)
He took me, gave me a name, as God has ordained and promised to take necessary responsibility of me.
With this, I say thank you Dad.
Based on the vowel he made, he ensured that I had good nurturing;working hard on my education and providing shelter over my head.
God bless you daddy, you are truely the overseer of the family.
It is my prayer that, God grant you grace and long life so that you may see the output of your efforts and reap the best of fruits from your germinated seed.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

THE WOMAN OF RUBIES
Hail the woman who carried me as a clothe of blood in her womb and brought me forth in due season
Hail the second caretaker apart from God;
She considers my daily bread before hers,
She clothed me when I was naked,
Bathed me when I was dirty
What can I do? than to hail her name, MOTHER!!!
She is to me, the mother among all mothers;
The best thing ever given to me by God
Mother, you are so precious to me.
No earthly man's love can be compared to the love you've shown to me.
Blessed are you among women
And blessed are the fruits of your labour
May your palm not shrink in the harmattan season, and may your feet not tremble in the presence of earthquakes.
I thank God for a mother like you
You are always the pillar of my humane comforts.
Enjoy your moment of special recognition.

READWIDE TO IMPROVE YOURSELF
Many a time, man is faced with cnfronting situations which in actual sense tend to drain even the little liquid in the system(body). These confronting situations can be characterised as the storms, hurricans, earthquakes, cataracts, and rapids that impede the smooth navigation of one's progress in life.
However, these setbacks should not be a hindrance to a determined, focused, and strategic planner's success in life.
Folks, as students aiming high to become better, prominent and competent citizens in our cherished and peaceful nation(Ghana), we ought to work hard and establish our stands very firm in all endeavors.
What do I mean by this?
As students, we ought to take our academics very serious despite any inconvenience. Reading wide to update our knowledge is a good atmosphere to help fit ourselves in the current affairs of both our noble institutions and the nation at large. I might say with great assertiveness that, we are all in the "soup" when it comes to poor attitude towards reading.
There is a common sense saying that, to hide something from an African, is to put it in a book. This saying alone proves that, Africans with you and me inclusive behave reluctantly to reading.
Meanwhile, it is not logic to spend a dozen of income on your education, with the struggles and toils of your significant others to have you being educated, and only for you to graduate from the university as an "educated illiterate".
This would be, if actually happens, a great havoc to three different but related parties(yourself, your society, and the entire nation), even to affect cosmos.
Note that, to be educated is to be disciplined, self-controlled, self-respected, time conscious,...
Above all, to be educated is to be God fearing; for wisdom, knowledge and understanding comes from God. And without Him, your stressful efforts to education will be fruitless.

COMPLETE FAVOUR
The favoured is always in the sight of he that granteth favour.
There are many channels to enjoying favour: Favour with the Self, Favour of Man(others), and the Favour of God.
It is your responsibility to do yourself good by favouring yourself;take good care of yourself while you make sure that you are out of pains, free from sickness and diseases. This would promote good health and make you physically strong.
You can also favour yourself by refraining from bad companies, as the Holy book says "bad company corrupts good mind".
In the light of these, favour with the self entails all the actions and moves one makes in order to secure peace with his or herself.
However, it is also prudent to attain the favour of others. This means winning the hearts of men and provoking them to act in your way.
Meanwhile, you can exercise this kind of favour only when you have something valuable that others seriously and profusely need.
This valuable thing(your talent) may be inherent or acquired.
It is also worth noting that, the talent should be perfected and traded by you so that your call to delivering at any point in time would be
credible, appreciable and excellent in the sight of many.
As a matter of fact, until you become knowledgeable, disciplined and practice hardwork, you can never perfect your talent, left alone trade it.
In spite of these, the most expensive aspect of complete favour is to have the favour of God. This face of favour is priceless but worthy.
To be favoured before God is to have faith in Him, trust and obey in His words, and act by and according to His words.
Know that God is the rewarder of they that diligently seek Him. His reward to them that ernestly seek Him can be in many forms, and one way to show the Father's reward to His sons is through favour.
On account Abraham, Job, Esther, David, Jacob, Jephter, Mary(Jesus' mother), and other biblical heroes enjoyed the true favour of God
in their days, holding to their faith and obedience to the decrees of God the father Almighty.
It is divinely acceptable that, as sons of God we practice these three major facets of favour that we may match forward properly to attaining
the complete favour at all course to the glory of one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. AMEN
