Keep It Burning!
Where is the zeal with which you have come this far? What is it that urges you on to keep moving? What at all has been your motivation and inspiration? Come on! Keep it burning!
Keep the zeal burning and let it be recognized by all, that you have something that keeps you going. It doesn't matter what or how it looks, just keep it burning. For it is that which has brought you that far.
Do not belittle your zeal by the sight of another person's zeal. Know that, we are all not the same, and that which urges you on may not even tickle the other. Have a zeal and be sensitive to it.
In spite of all that keeps you on, there is one thing that is greatest and common to every child of God ( the word of God, which is Christ Jesus). This must dwell in you richly, for Christ in you is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:26-27).
There is no way you will be lukewarm when the word is daily activated in you. Keep the word burning in your heart my dear, for it refreshes the soul and keeps the spirit alive with God.
Keep it burning my friend, keep the fire burning. For the word of God is the fire that burns every weeds in the life of the righteous (Jeremiah 23:29) and like the sword, it pierces and breaks down strongholds in our lives (Hebrews 4:12).
It is the amount of the word of God, coupled with its vibrancy in you, that reveals your true identity in Christ. Hence, keep it burning.
Keep the courage, faith, love and hope that you have burning to the end of time. For a time is coming when all that you see around you will fail, and your rescue will fall on nothing but the courage you have, your faith in God, the love you share and your hope in the Lord's assured glory.
My dear, the clock is ticking very fast. And no one can tell when the time is due, but one thing is certain, that the Lord is coming soon (Revelation 22:12). Therefore, keep the fire burning if you claim to be a child of God. For even Christ Jesus had a zeal to please his father, and he kept that zeal to honour the Father (John 2:13-17). You can do same, just believe and act accordingly!
