What Have You Got!

What Have You Got!

Everybody has got something, it could be power, fame, love, money and so on. Meanwhile, the most important fact is for you to know what you have. What have you got?

What at all have you got that you do not allow others to have their peace? Can you boldly boast of what you have before God? Even, can that which you have be recognized by your fellow men on earth? My friend, you better examine and weigh what you've got before you flare-up.

Never think you are superior or more important than others, for what they've got may be much worthier than that which you pride yourself in. Can just be modest and humble for a while?

Be careful what you do with that which you've got, for surely it will not last for a lifetime. Knowing very well that all things will pass away in due time, and it is only the word of God that will last forever (Matthew 24:35).

Therefore friend, if there should be any boasting, let it be about the word of God (which is Christ) in you. How much of the Word do you have in you? What is your relationship with God and Jesus Christ, his son? And how close are you with the Holy Spirit?

Just look at you, you can not even boldly respond to the above, and you walk about boasting in unnecessary things. Can you just stop the foolishness and repent from the pride of your heart!

Oh yes repent! For you can never please God with what you are doing. Remember, if the power, authority, money, talent and all that you think you've got does not glorify and please God, there is no way it will last even before men.

Why do you pride yourself in that which will fade in no time, whiles the Word of God is there for you to enjoy it's fullness into eternity?
My Dear, flee from the lust of the eye, as well as the pride of the heart, and seek after the unadulterated Word of God.

For it is the only food that gives total satisfaction to the soul and spirit. Do not be too conscious of your body, but be more conscious of your soul and spirit. For when the soul and spirit are well satisfied, your body will certainly benefit thereof. The reverse is not and can never be the same (Mark 8:36-38).

Therefore my Dear, seek the Lord (the Word) while he may be found, before the evil day comes (Isaiah 55:6-7; Ecclesiastes 12:1). For on that day, all that you boast of will not safe you, except the Word of God which is in you (Amos 8:11-12). Repent now, for your tomorrow may be today.
Stay Blessed!

Psalm 20:7, Psalm 138:7, Mark 16:17, Philippians 4:13, Romans 5:6-8, 1 Timothy 4:12, John 3:16, 1 John 4:18, Romans 8:15.
Shalom!!!
