Why Are You Holding On To That!

Why Are You Holding On To That!

The mistakes we do often linger in our minds and in our hearts, while events from our yesterday shift into our today, never allowing us the freedom to fully move forward into our tomorrow. Why should this be, when we are to step up into the beauty of the future.

Why are you holding on to that which should be kept in the past? Don't you know that living under the weight of the "should haves" is a heavy burden to carry? Oh come on, let the sleeping dogs lie, and focus on what you have to do in the present to make the future glorious.

My dear, whatever happened in your past, though unpleasant, has shaped who you are today if truth be told. Hence, there is no need to discredit its effect. That not withstanding, there is no need to allow it to control your life anymore. Just let it go.

There is no gain in holding on to anything which has the potential to destroy your joy. Thus, holding onto the grudges and pains is worthless. Rather, let the joy of the Lord flow richly in you, that your life may speak of the Lord's glory (Matthew 5:16).

Do not allow the negligence of another cost you your joy and happiness in life. Be your true self, and let God have his way in your being (in whatever you do).

For the struggles of life will certainly come, as far as you are human on earth. Though they may come, your task is to face them with courage and learn from them. There is no need to stay stuck with your struggles, let them go!

The future is bright my dear, and you need nothing more than peace, joy and focus to attain all the beauty that comes with it. Do not let anything pull you away, and don't hold on to anything unhealthy, just come clean and sound. This is possible, and you can do it!
Stay Blessed!

Shalom!!!
