Can You Shut Up For A While!

Can You Shut Up For A While!

In a society of hot takes, a world of instant opinions and reactions, and in a culture where the loudest voice seems to always win, there is always the temptation to speak out or broadcast in diverse situations.

Meanwhile, it is prudent to keep your cool and zip your mouth. Oh yes, just shut up for a while. It is very obvious that keeping the mouth shut is easier said than done, as it may require great effort, discipline, dedication and diligence.

However it is, if not one of the best remedies to a long sustaining living. Keeping your mouth shut will bring benefits to you, others around you and even God. Why? Because, it helps you to serve others (especially when they need you) by giving them a listening ear.

Also with your mouth shut, you will be able to acknowledge your lack (Proverbs 17:28). Thus, saving you from the stress of disappointment out of your own ignorance. For those who are loud speak to the extent of telling lies unknowingly, which has a great repercussion on their image.

So my dear, can you just shut up for a while? Don't you know that it is your silence in the presence of the storms and irregularities of life that God preferably have his way to operate on your behave? Truly, you can only become strong in times of strives when God steps in, in your silence (2 Corinthians 12:8-11).

Therefore my dear, keep quiet and be still, for your noise making will not yield any better result, than to delay your breakthrough.

Instead of the complaints and unnecessary noise, why not shut your mouth and look up to Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). For in him alone can you find perfect rest (Matthew 11:28-30).

Friend, you've been loud for long, just shut up for a while and see what will happen. It is always good to be dynamic, you know! Just try this, it really works magic.
Stay Blessed!

Proverbs 18:21, Proverbs 21:23, Daniel 12:4, Proverbs 13:3, James 1:19, Proverbs 14:16-17, Psalm 46:1-10.
Shalom!!!
