Do You Really Need The Blessing!

Do You Really Need The Blessing!

Everybody wants to be blessed, but do you really need the blessing? I don't think you mostly do any analysis on your wants and needs. Do you?

God knows our hearts, capabilities and what's around the corner for us. Thus, he can choose not to bless us in a certain area, and that might even be a blessing in itself. You may disagree, but it is truth.

God does not just bless for blessing sake, but his blessings are meant to protect us, guide us to the path of righteousness and to give us hope. Hence, it is not a matter of just satisfying a want , but to satisfy genuine needs.

Do you really need the blessing that you are always craving for? I doubt! For if you really need that blessing, you would not be seeking for another's downfall (preventing and envying their blessing).

Instead of you repenting and asking for your own blessing in contrition and in faith with the right motives, you sit down there selfishly planning on how to get everything for yourself. Oh friend, don't be a fool! For as much as you seek to have that which belongs to your neighbour, the more you strive in vain.

Why? Because God is a righteous Father who gives to his children what they need accordingly, and ensures that no one takes it from them (Isaiah 43:13).

Therefore, if you really need the blessing you are seeking then, repent from those unconfessed sins (1 John 1:9) and be conscious of the company you keep. For the consequences of their actions may negatively impact your blessing.

Meanwhile when it comes to blessing, God's timing is always different from yours (Isaiah 55:8-9), but will surely come (Habakkuk 2:3). Sometimes, you need to be patient and persistent in order for you to attain the blessing you need.

Often times when God is blessing us, we just can not notice it, because our minds are busily clustered with envy on the blessings of others. Repent now my dear, for it is more of witchcraft.

God has promised to bless you, and he surely will. However, you need to know whether you really need the blessing or not. Search within you carefully and respond accordingly.
Stay Blessed!
