Why Can't You Get Off The Old Self!

You claim to have been born again for so long now, but nothing proves this, even till now. There is no significant difference between your new self and the old self, not even the minimum change for others to testify of your salvation. Why can't you get off the old self?

Do you feel the old nature is so comforting to you? Or there is more pleasure in the old fashion than you think there is in the new? Do not be misled, there is nothing good in the old darkened nature than misery. Why? Because the focus is always off Christ.

Now that you have received Christ in your life, you ought to get rid of the old self. It is time to shine as the light, for you are now light. You do not have to allow any iota of darkness into your life, for it is not in conformity with the new nature. Why can't you let go of your old self?

My dear friend listen carefully to this, until you will be able to see a significant positive change in your life, you really have to shun away from the old evil self. Remember, a dirty glass can never remain pure unless it has been washed or cleansed. And this is why Christ came to die for you, that His blood will wash and make you clean. Why are you refusing to remain pure? Why can't you get off the old self?

My friend think and be smart, for this world is not your home. You do not have any inheritance here, whatever you are foolishly fighting for on earth here will never follow you when you die. Your inheritance is in eternity, and that is what you should fight for. This is why you need to get rid of the old self and remain in the new self which is focused on Christ (the way, the truth and the life).

Do not be deceived at all, there is no sustenance in the old self. Flee from it now and save your life!
