Never Judge By What You See!

Never Judge By What You See!

One of the most dangerous things to do is to judge falsely. However, it is evident that almost everybody falls one way or the other to this danger. Judge not, so you may not be judged... these are the true words in the bible. Why then, do we find it difficult to obey?

Judge not, and more especially do not judge others by what you see, for charm is deceptive and beauty is vain. The look you see on someone is not their real nature. The reality of their being is in their character. Thus to really know someone, you just need to study the character. For it is with this that you will be able to judge their actions and not their being if need be.

Stop the prejudices and unnecessary stereotyping, and be more observant and vigilant with people before you pass any judgement on them. For your judgement reflects who you are.

Meanwhile, you are responsible to be your brother's ( Sister's) keeper, bearing their infirmities as a symbol of your love and maturity ( Romans 15:1-6). Why then do you judge?

Judge not, for when you judge you present your own self as a failure to your moral duty. Remember that as a child of God, you have a charge to keep and a God to glorify ( Mathew 5:16). So flee from the danger of judging others indiscriminately, and pray more for God to empower you with his spirit. That you will be able to accommodate others, and correct their wrong doings in love.

Mathew 7:1-5, Luke 6:31-42, John 8:1-8, James 4:11-12, Romans 2:1-3, Galatians 6:1-6, Proverbs 31:9, James 3:17, Ephesians 4:29.
Shalom!!!
