Running With The Lord!

It is obvious that everyone on earth is in a race, running for a better life. And this race we are in is an endless one, but requires determination, hope, faith and endurance to urge on. And this is why you need to run with the Lord.

Run with the Lord, for he is our strength in times of weakness. He alone is our help in times of need. For with him, we shall lack nothing (Psalm 23).

Why are you wasting the little strength you have on tireless strives, when there is a life-cushion for you. Oh yes, Christ Jesus is right at your door post waiting for you to come into his rest and run with him.

If you really want to be victorious in your life's journey, then you need to run with the Lord. There is no way you will win if you jump the gun, or try to slack away from the Lord. You need to always move along with him. Oh yes, according to his will.

Though running with the Lord is fulfilling and promising, you are never promised a stress-free journey. However, there is this great assurance that you will certainly come out victorious (1 Corinthians 10:13). It is all about being patient, obedient, faithful, humble, determined and focused as you move with the Lord.

Why? Because you need to adhere to all the rules (commandments) of the race. Just as the athlete is conversant with the rules of the game, so must you know the rules governing your life's journey. Thus, you've got to imbibe the Word of God. For it is there to guide your path (2 Timothy 3:16-17), and empower you to run with the Lord. Don't be a mediocre and don't be complacent, just be on your guard and run with the Lord. There is a lot to discover, and you need to get it done, not alone but with the Lord.
