Be Attentive To The Inner Man!

There is an inner man, who helps to direct decision, and this man is in everyone of us. It is this same man that speaks to us in diverse ways, that we sometimes undermine his presence with the phrase "something inside of me..."

God in his own wisdom has made room for the inner man in our lives (1 Corinthians 6:19), that he champions the manifestation of God's plans in our lives (John 14:26). Hence, it pays to be attentive to the inner man in you.

The things of this world have engulfed our minds, eyes and thoughts so much that we are always in haste to make decisions without seeking confirmation from the inner man (God's representation). But hey, this is not supposed to be so. It is the greatest error many have committed before us, and we need not to repeat that anymore as God's chosen people. We must pay attention to the voice of God ministering in us.

It is good to pay attention and listen, so that you may obtain grace to be obedient. For obedience is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22-23). And this is true, because to spend valuable resources in sacrifice just to pacify for a wrong done, why don't you just be attentive and do the right thing once?

My Dear, your days are numbered on earth, and the world is indeed becoming a dangerous and tremendously evil place to live. Hence, be attentive to the voice of God within you. That you may be able to withstand the test of life and safe your soul. Be friends to the Holy Spirit and God's Word, and you will never miss your steps.
