Ready To Follow God!

Almost everyone on earth profess to know God, while others (especially Christians) claim to love God. Meanwhile, it is very difficult to ascertain those who are diligently following God (Matthew 15:8). With this, it is obvious to say that most of us are religious but not spiritual as Christ (Acts 11:19-30).

If you claim to know and love God, then you should be ready to follow him. What is your preparation towards this? It is not enough to just know God, your ability to follow his leading is what confirms that you know him and he also knows you (John 10:11-18).

You can not deceive anybody, not even yourself. If you claim to be a child of God, then let it show by your readiness to follow His commands. Many are the instructions God has given to you, how many have you obeyed (Exodus 20:1-17)?

My friend, flee from the deceptive lies of lust, the devil and all that pulls you away from being devoted to God, that you may be able to seek and follow the Lord. For they that know their God diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

Are you ready to follow God? If yes, why are holding on to other gods in your life (money, family and other relations, business, even yourself)? Don't you know that you can not serve two masters at the same time (Matthew 6:24)?

Remember, it is only when you seek the kingdom of God first with its righteousness, that all other things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). Thus, anything out of this norm is fake and will not last for long. Don't be deceived, repent now and be ready to follow the Lord. He will lead you to pleasant places (Psalm 23).
