Who Do You Listen To!

Who Do You Listen To!

Everybody wants to control his or her own life. Meanwhile, in a universe in which everything is dependent on another, none of us has absolute control, but influence.

Contrary to our quest for independence, we often see our lives being influenced one way or the other by others. This to an extent is good, as plans fail for lack of counsel and succeeds with many advisers (Proverbs 15:22).

Meanwhile, the question to digest is who do you listen to? Do you just imbibe whatever you hear from others? Remember, not all words are meant for your consumption. Oh yes, you need to listen, but be attentive to be discerning. Else, you dig the grave for your own distraction.

Everybody wants to share their opinions, and contribute to your life (depending on their relations with you), but do you know the motives behind their actions?
Most will have good intentions, but some may not be as good as you perceive them. This is why you need to be very careful who you listen to.

My friend, though all may smile with you in the open, it is not all that wish for your good (they want your downfall) and will do whatever they can to achieve their ambitions even with deception. Hence, be vigilant!

Never take the advises of people for granted, but be skeptical and diligent while you listen. For they are like seeds that are sown. And any bad seed may grow to destroy your life ( the glory upon your life) in the near future.

However, the best person to listen to is God. For he speaks to us every now and then (within the seconds, minutes and hours of time). My dear, the earlier you get closer to God, the better it will be for you to hear his voice while he speaks to you.

For no one can advise you better than God. And you can only hear him when you have constant fellowship with him through his word with a steady walk with the Holy Spirit. Know that, with God as you adviser, you can never be misguided. Therefore, tune up with him now, and you will see how progressive you will be in life.
Stay Blessed!
