Don't Take Things For Granted!
Do you think it is all enough just to know that you are saved? Come on! Never be deceived, your task and war began right when you became saved (Galatians 5:17, Philippians 2:12-13). Hence, you need not take things for granted.
You are in battle both with your flesh and the devil (master of the flesh). Therefore be mindful and stay alert. For you wrestle not against just flesh and blood, but against principalities... (Ephesians 6:12-13).
Don't just sit back, eat, drink and think the whole world is at your disposal. Be on your guard and be sensitive to the world around you. Not all that glitters is gold (as the adage goes). Stay conscious and vigilant, for the adversary looks out for someone to devour.
Be like the children of Issachar who know the seasons and times, and make hay while the sun shines. Prepare yourself both in season and out of season, so you do not find yourself wanting when the time of reckoning comes. Be wise!
Do not take things for granted my dear, so that you do not get the shock of your life. This is why the Master (Christ) is sending you out like sheep among wolves; therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16).
You can never and should never miss your track, nor break your rank. Be on your guard!
Stay Blessed!
1 Peter 4:7-11, Hebrews 13:16, Ecclesiastes 7, 8:1-9, Philippians 1:9.
Shalom!!!
