You Need An Intercessor!

Everybody needs someone in life. One that can be trusted and relied on at all times. One that will stand in and up for you in all things, with or without your knowledge. That is an intercessor!

You need that intercessor, who will stand in to fill the gaps in your life (both physically and spiritually). One who will subdue him or herself to prayer for your sake.One who will travail till your freedom and rest is secured. Such are the people you need in your life.

You do not just need anyone at all in your life as an intercessor. You need to be skeptical and very discerning in choosing who you rely on as an intercessor. Meanwhile, there are many intercessors that God has positioned in our lives without our knowledge, of which we always need to pray for them also, that they may be strengthened to keep on with the good work.

Do not think you are self- sufficient on your own, and therefore need no one. Know that, even Christ Jesus has God (the Father) as his shepherd (intercessor). So is Christ Jesus, the shepherd of his disciples, even unto us on the cross for our salvation.

If Abraham could stand in to intercede for Sodom and Gomorrah because of Lot, and Jeremiah to intercede for Israel and Judah even when he was imprisoned for speaking the mind of God unto the people, that God repented from his own words (curse upon the people) to save his people, then you also need an intercessor.

Do not neglect the power of a shepherd (a spiritual leader) in your life. For he is like a prophet in your life and mostly the mouth piece of God to you. Don't be ignorant of this. You need an intercessor. Think about it carefully!
