Are You Friendly With God!

Everybody in one way or the other needs a friend or wants to have a friend. And I believe you do too. But are you friendly?

Don't forget, that anyone who wants a friend must show him/herself friendly. For you can never give what you don't have.

To show yourself friendly, you must first be friends with God. For He is the best of friends. Hence, the big question is, are you friendly with God?

Guess your answer is yes! But this friendship can not just be measured with words, but by deeds.

You claim to be friends with God, and you lie, hate, envy, backbite your neighbour and all, even to the extent of killing them (not physically though). Have you forgotten, that you can never claim to love God while you hate your brethren? Examine yourself and repent.

Let the love of God dwell in you richly. For it is in this, that your friendship with God will be perfected.

Stop the hypocrisy, and be a true believer (an example of Christ), for that is your core mandate on earth (1 Timothy 4:12).

Be a faithful friend today, and let brotherly love continue (Hebrews 13:1). For a friend in need (not as literally connoted, but to be there always), is a friend indeed
