Do You Love Me!
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love (1 John 4:7-8).
Nothing can be compared to love, for it is the greatest virtue recognized by God. And so He (God) asks you this day that, do you love me?
How strong is your love for the Lord? What is the foundation of your relationship with Him? Is it based on demand and supply (as in making requests and expecting God to fulfill) or it is based on pure love ( one that is unconditional)? Sela!
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). With this, can you boast of your love to God? And can He trust your love? Think about this carefully!
There is no way you can love (your neighbour nor yourself) best without loving God first. For it is the love of God that transcends into your very being. So love the Lord more.
The Lord requires you to show him your love, He wants to feel your breathe of love, which you can evidently exhibit through your love for others. That is why the scripture says, you can not claim to love God and hate your neighbour. So the question again, do you love me?
Let the love of God dwell in you richly, that you may be seen as the express image of God. For God created you in his image. Therefore, if He is love, then you also must radiate the love of God.
So be an example and love the Lord with all that you've got. For it is better to suffer with the Lord and gain eternally, than to gain in the world and suffer eternally. Ponder on these words and make a wise decision to Love best.
Stay Blessed!
