How Far Have You Come With Your Purpose!
Sometimes we can be so busy about our lives that we forget the purpose behind them. Why? Because, we are always driven by the demands of life and not realizing that God always has a greater purpose that we must comply with.
Whatever purpose you have is not yours, but God's own purpose. As a matter of fact, that purpose is not only about your life, but mainly about the lives of those around you (at home, school, work or wherever you find yourself).
This is the more reason why you are admonished to let your light so shine amongst men (others), that they may see and glorify your father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
With this I ask you, how far have you come with your purpose? Why do you think you are alive till date, in your present position? Have you really fulfilled that key objective for which you were saved? Stop, stand still and rethink through your life.
My dear, life is not all about what you see or crave for. It is about you fulfilling a purpose, not just a purpose, but a divine purpose from God. That which will make you satisfied, famous and at rest both in and out of yourself.
However, you really need to know this purpose in order to know how far you have actually come in terms with it. Meanwhile, you can only do this by having constant fellowship with God, through his word (Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Do not be too complacent and so confident in how far you have come in life, rather take a snap review of your life and see if it is in line with God's purpose for your life. Do this, because it will be very painful to realize that all that you have toiled for is worthless just at the end of it all. This is because, a life well lived without Christ as focus is vanity and meaningless (Ecclesiastes 1:2-14). Hence, be wise and live according to God's purpose and not in your own pride.
Stay Blessed!
