What Are You Afraid Of?
Many of us are crippled with fear, making it so difficult for us to fulfill our destinies. Why should this be?
Fear, as ugly as it is, can be perceived as the root cause of so many mistakes and spiritual pitfalls in one's life. Ask me why?
Fear causes us to buckle and settle for less than God's best for us. It influences us to be disobedient to God, after diluting our trust in him. Even when we try to stay strong, fear robs us of our peace and joy. Why should we allow this to be?
In fact, it is about time you get rid of this ugly condition in your life. What at all are you afraid of? Is it the reaction of men, the deceptive manipulations of the wicked or your own inferiority complex? Come on my dear, do not be naive nor a mediocre, it is time to stand out and stay strong.
Be strong and courageous my friend, for God has promised to always be there for you. He has promised to be your shield and advocate. Hence, there is no need to fear, because you have not been given the spirit of fear, but of power, love and of sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Have you not heard, or have you forgotten so soon that though we are hard pressed, we can never be destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:8-18)? Oh yes, this should tell you that there is no need to be afraid of anything.
For though the storms may arise, they can never overcome you. Because you have a God who never sleeps nor slumber (Psalm 121:1-4). He alone is God, and will see to it that you prosper according to his will and word.
Therefore friend, be bold and remain committed to your purpose. Strive hard without allowing any influence, to kill all your fears and stay focused on the promises of the Lord. For they are the very motives to encourage and fuel your goals into fruition, and will help you overcome every iota of fear in your life.
Stay Blessed!
