Draw Closer!

Draw Closer!

Have you ever seen great friendship built without any sense of closeness? I'm afraid no! No one can enjoy the sincere benefits of friendship without intimacy (closeness). Certainly, there should be that desire to draw close.

You can never know what your friend has to offer in the friendship, until you draw closer. More so, there is a purpose for every friendship, even those built on acquaintance basis. Hence, be very vigilant and skeptical with your friendships.

You claim to know God, but there is no friendship between you and him. I believe you can affirm to this, if only you remain sincere to your spirit man. You want to enjoy the blessings of the Lord daily, but you are always far away from him. How do you intend to reach out to these blessings? My friend, draw closer!

The Lord has thrown an invitation to you, and he is still inviting you to his warm and peaceful friendship, why are you hesitating? Come on, draw closer!

I hope you know the Lord loves you so much, even to the point of sacrificing his life for you (John 3:16), just to build a friendship with you. A friendship that would benefit you the most. Why are you dragging your feet. Dear, draw close.

See, God knows whatever plans he has for everyone. And he can choose to give to you at any point in time. However, it takes your closeness to him, for you to fall in that plan.

Meanwhile, there are times that God will force you to draw closer to him (Jonah 3:1-10), exactly when he knows it is very necessary.

Have you ever wondered why you go through certain trials? Some of them are not orchestrated by the devil, but are just means God uses to draw you closer to himself, mainly because of your stubbornness.

Draw closer to God my Dear, for there is great peace in him, a place filled with rest (Matthew 11:28-30). His friendship is genuine, and you will lack nothing with him. All you need to do is to draw closer, and you will never regret.
Stay Blessed!
