What Guides You!
Everyone has a way of life, and this must be guided. The sensitive question to ponder on is, what actually guides one's life?
Let me just personalize this and ask, what guides you? Sella!
What guides you my dear? Is it your emotions, thoughts, friends, family, tradition or spiritual beings? Beloved, you need to wake up on this quest.
There is no proper guidance without God. For anything you do without God's guidance yields no better results, because it is done amiss (James 4:2-3).
Your emotions and thoughts may guide you one way or the other, but may create issues for you if care is not taken. Friends and family on the other hand may give advises here and there, but you need to apply wisdom before compliance.
The most serious and dangerous situation with guidance is to allow tradition and unseen spiritual beings to guide your actions. Why, because your life becomes miserable when you are misguided.
In spite of this my dear, it is very important for you to know what really influences your actions. Why? Because you are what people see you do. And as matter of fact, what you take in is what actually comes out of you (Matthew 15:18). So your actions are as a result of the guidance you get. Hence, be careful with what guides you.
I wish and pray that you allow the Spirit of God to guide your steps, so that your life always pleases God. For Christ Jesus is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6), and it is the Holy Spirit that has the core mandate to direct you into this truth (John 16:13), by giving you true guidance.
Therefore my dear, do not be deceived! For there are so many things happening to misguide the steps of many people in this perilous times. Do not fall a victim. Just submit to God's leadership and guidance, and he will direct your steps unto stable grounds, full of pasture (Psalm 23).
Stay Blessed!
